David Villa and Fernando Torres
Should they both stay at their respective clubs where they're now second choice or move elsewhere in January to try and regain their form?

I'd take Torres over Villa... and I don't want Torres.

Villa would be a hit at Chelsea IMO. Torres? Let him go Blue Square.

Villa has always been the better player. However, this season, he has shown signs of his ability declining. Don't know where the logic in swapping them has come from.

Hasn't Pep come out and rubbished the rumours of Villa leaving?

Re: David Villa and Fernando Torres
Lol, Villa is not on a strong run right now but he's certainly not playing bad in a consistent basis, he's just having a dry run but he plays well. The same cannot be said of Torres

He's good enough to play against Vidic.

They'd probably shoot him in Russia if he does another hamstring. Definitely not going there. :\
Time to start a Torres to Malaga rumour to kill RAWK again.

Do we have a percentage of the sell on fee for Torres?

Re: David Villa and Fernando Torres
Oh, another Bayern fan. Welcome. Post in the Bayern forums!
Torres is in long term for Chelsea, IMO. I don't think Abramovich would have spent so much money just to have him sold right away.
Villa is still good, just with Torres' boots on. He's going to have to fight a lot for his place, so if he wants a starting spot he could consider moving. I doubt Pep would let him go.

Re: David Villa and Fernando Torres
IMO it's going to be very hard for Chelsea to get rid of Torres.
The problem people are not addressing is his 150k per week salary. I believe where ever he goes this will be the major issue as it will piss off teammates that are making less but contributing more and then everyone at the club will have there hand out looking for a raise.
His form just isn't good enough for the baggage that he will bring with him as he right now is a team destroyer. It sucks because he can be awesome and is a good enough guy but when you make that much money and don't produce you become a massive problem for whatever team your on.
Not to mention you are asking teams to pay you for that problem which if there smart enough they will stay away from.
IMO the only teams Torres would work on would be PSG, Madrid, Malaga, and Inter (although I think he would flop HARD in Italy).
As for Villa, there not selling him so it's a non issue.

Re: David Villa and Fernando Torres
Villa is suffering because of his role, and he needs more time to adapt. Being WC = success at barca. They are one of the most specialised teams in history. Apart from goals he does his job well.
Torres is a shell of the player that has been shite for almost 2 years now. He flops for Spain, flopped for pool and is now flopping for Chelsea. Let's just say the dude has peaked.
