Kaka able to compete with Messi?
If Kaka could get back to his best form from 07, with this extrenely strong Real Madrid side around him, would he be able to compete with Messi for the Ballon D'Or? I think he could. Ill never forget how he single-handedly tore a very strong United side apart.
Also, how would that change things for la liga and world football? Honestly, I think if Kaka was back at his best, with Ronaldo, Ozil, etc beside him, I think theyd definitely have the edge over Barca.

Re: Kaka able to compete with Messi?
Not even at his peak was he as good as Messi now...he wasnt as good as Ronaldinho, wasnt as good as Ronaldo, wasnt as good as Zidane.
He will never get back to 07 anyway, so its a mute point.

Re: Kaka able to compete with Messi?
He wasnt as good at his peak as Messi is now.Not even close.
And him back to his best wont make an ounce of difference to the way Madrid play when they face Barca.
Against Barca the battle lies in midfield and whther Kaka is at his best or not Madrid will always lose that battle.

Re: Kaka able to compete with Messi?
@Alex- that's quite pessimistic? No .......always is a loose term.
@ Franchise - I think at peak form....he wasn't neccessarily as good or as talented as Messi.......but he had the same ability to be a game changer.......and within that.....the ability to compete for the title with the best player in the world with big performances.
He's 29..... :lucas: ( albeit nivevely)
Note: He would be better than Iniesta

Re: Kaka able to compete with Messi?
Kaka was never the consistent game changer Messi is...never.
He was a great player, at one brief point the best in the world, but no.

Re: Kaka able to compete with Messi?
TBH I don't disagree with anything you said........he was a game changer.....and game changers will always compete for the tag of best player in the world depending on what games they show up in.
The tag of best player in the world and actually being the best player in the world are two completely different things to me.....if that clarifies anything.
