Machester United, inarguably, one of the best teams in the world, were "bounced" from Champions League. It happens and may very well happen to Barca, sooner rather than later.

It's not a good sign to, excessively, live via your favorite team, vicariously.

Ronaldo does not "suck". He has trouble when the team is not dominant ( as Real never are, against Barca ) as does the rest of the team. It's likely the case because quality chances are less frequent and each one is, therfore, more important than it would have been in a "regular game". It's easiler to "panic' no matter how rich or talented you are, pluse, there's the "snowball effect" to deal with.

Take him out of the team over ten games and, maybe, he would be better appreciated when folks realize that Higuain is NOT Rob Van Pierse, or Benzema Wayne Rooney.

Barca HAD to win, Real did not.

I too don't like it, but NOTHING is settled because of the result.

I find the best way to deal with this loss is detachment.

Level heads show themselves at times like this. At the end of the day, it's another round in the campaign. The for and against could play a factor, but we still have the title in our hands so it doesn't have to be.

If we recede into a mid season slump, then you will see the fears emerge. For now, things could be better but we are still on track.

I still like Real's chances to win all three competitions, but, I would also love to have at least one win over Barca allong the way, as "icing ont he cake".

I wantt os ee Barca be attacked heavily to see how flistered they get. I would risk the open space on their counter because a "lukewarm approach" isn't working!
