SKY: MONTOLIVO MOVED TO JUVENTUS
As reported on Sky TV from sources close to the club Fiorentina soccer player Ricardo Montolivo will move in January in Turin Juventus. This transfer saga has been further "hot" Let the president and owner of Fiorentina Diego Della Valle to Montolivo only sold to Juventus. Montolivo to Juventus should be the sum of 3.5 M Euros to Juventus, but Vincenzo Iaquinta also lent team Fiorentina.

He'll cover all 3 midfielders. When we're in Europe he'll be used enough to keep him happy.

Doesnt have the heart of Vidal.
Doesnt have the technical qualities for Marchisio.
Doesnt have the pure genius of Pirlo.
Hes going to cover jack $hit.
BUT, 3.5m is not a bad deal to get him. If he pulls his finger out, he can actually be a useful sub. But from what Ive seen, he doesnt deserve a place over pazienza or Marrone. In a 4-3-3 situation, if any one our current midfielders are taken off for whatever reason, I think bringing in the likes of Elia/Esti or even Krasic and switching to a 4-2-3-1 would be more useful.
IF Montolivo comes to Juve, I really do hope he proves me wrong and in that case, I will be first to stand up and admit it.

Re: SKY: MONTOLIVO MOVED TO JUVENTUS
I must admit that from what I have seen of him as a trequartista for Italy he has been hugely disappointing (par the Spain match) but if I remember correctly he used to perform extremely well for Fiorentina as a DMF, the position we are trying to give more depth to.

RICCARDO!!!! The best regista in Italy after Pirlo
Ours for the taking. When we enter CL next season he'll come very handy and if Pirlo is out for some reason Conte won't even have to adapt his tactics!!

I hate to say it, but your right. He is the second best regista, all though I would say that for future. Guys like Poli and Verratti should make their way up in the next years. Anyways he would be the perfect vice nonetheless.

I know, but this guy has not proven even to be as good as Camo or to even be in the top level. Now that being said, you can always use someone like Giovinco in that role as he even started that way in his career. But once again Devi, I know you hate this, but it was you know who brought Camo to Juve, and that man has an eye for so much talent. If he would look at Bovo now, I wouldn't think he'd say something special about the guy. Granted, he did say things about Giac, postive ones at that. Marco Verratti who is in Serie B, has a better chance.

Almost, I think he was born on October and supposedly moved to Juve before October 2002 Anyway, he has already played in Serie A at that time. CMIIW.

And an incosistent player is able to become big in the future, hmm, could happen... but I find it's too late for him now. Atleast Poli has proven himself at Sampdoria is younger who has more time to catch and show his true potential for example.

When I post to Devi, he knows we don't argue. Even if it's admin's duty, disagreements and other stuff. At the end of the day, he knows I have ultimate respect for him, for his knowledge, experience, and what he has done on these forums.

Re: SKY: MONTOLIVO MOVED TO JUVENTUS
Montolivo is the perfect vice for Pirlo right now and he can also cover for Vidal and Marchisio. At 3.5m that is a good deal and I will give credit to Marotta on this. Florentinea can have Iaquinta for free I don't care.
Our midfield is now set as we have sufficient cover. Now Marotta has to focus on the back line. We need a top LB and cover for Licht. If Marotta can snag Kolarov from ManShitty and get Caceras as a backup to Locht then he would get high praise from me. Then you can move Chiellini back to the middle and our backline is set.
We add Montolivo, Kolarov and Caceras and I think we can consider ourselves scudetto favorites for sure. So one down ad two more to go. Here's hoping to a strong winter mercato from Marotta.
