As stated in a thread on the GS, it's quite nice seeing your favourite team sit pretty on top. This is no exception. Hope it grows larger in the near future...

For some reason I'm honestly not too excited yet...

We're only 1/3 of the way through the season and haven't yet played the team that has had our number the last 3 years (and almost everyone else's). Plus we haven't really slipped up and we're bound for 1 or 2 like Barca had today

If we're 10-12 pts up and have beaten Barca 1/2 through the season I'll probably begin having wet dreams

Provided we don't screw up at Sporting I'm expecting good things on December 10th.

We're at home and have the momentum. We can ride that to a win, even a draw wouldn't be that bad. And even if we lose we have the character to pick ourselves up again.

This team is hungry, the chemistry is there and moral is high. Just look at the faces of most Barca players. A lot of them just don't seem that interested tbh. Maybe at home the Nou Camp roars them into more urgency but away from home they are kind of lethargic. Of course they'll be pumped up against us making all that irrelevant.

No matter how successful a season they have, beating us is always their highlight. Kudos to them for being able to do that but I believe we're the hungrier team.

Well, that was so beneficial. We are in this shape thanks to that defeat.

Yip it made sure we took it one match at a time. I really like that there is much less talk about classico from our than compared to the last few years. We have good focus this year. A win against Gijon allows us to take the game to Barca, because a loss, while sucking, will still see us in a good position.

Gijon is Key to out Liga aspirations. Most important game of the season so far!

Hope Levente beat farca next week, I know its difficult especially that it will be at the camp nou but lets just hope.
