Played a couple of matches for Monaco on the wing when their RB Adriano was injured. Not sure why he is associated with Barcelona. Don't think he is good enough to play for a top club, certainly not at the moment.

Sport said Barça are interested in Club Atletico Huracan (my hometown club) central defender Thiago Casasola, who is 17 and a u17 Argentina International, he is very young so i havent seen much of him but he came out and said his dream is to play for huracans first team right now so the transfer looks unlikely but you never know, its hard to resist Barca and his father, at Casasolas age can decide for him to go to Barça

What Barca mostly needs are a tall centre-back and a left back. Mat Hummels or Javi Martinez will be perfect as centre-back while Jordi Alba is our most viable option for left back. All other positions are covered.

I don't mind signing players that play in other positions in other teams to play other positions at Barça.
We are specialists in doing that. The important thing is that the player has the skills, not in what position was he playing.

We converted Nadal, Koeman, Blanc from midfielders to CBs.
We converted Ronaldinho, Rivaldo to wing players.
We converted many wingers to full backs (Goikoetxea, Zenden, Sergi, Ferrer)

Don't know anything about this Iborra guys.

I like Adrian, he could make it big. He is fast, has good shot, good technique, really, he has everything to become the next Villa. He is a late bloomer, but I always thought he would be a crack. I would take the gamble and pay 18 milion for him. A pitty we didn't sign him last season for 0. And Clichy for 8, and half our needs would be solved.

*bleep* Clichy. He is an overrated LB. His defensive positioning and decision making, as well as his crossing are awful. Lucky he's got pace so he can cover up for his mistakes most of the time. Take his pace out, he couldn't even make it in Swedish league.

Not sure about Adrián either, definitely not even comparable to Villa. He has been having a good season and played okay for U-12, but Villa already had a much better scoring record on a consistent basis at Adrián's age. For €18 million he might be worth the risk, but that depends on what else you can do with €18 million.

Without a question, Barcelona need a LB. There have been talks of Alba, which I rate highly as an offensive player, but his height will be not be welcome in a team already lacking in the aerial compartment. Also he is not as solid as Abidal defensively. For me, Filipe Luís would be a good fit. Not sure how much he will cost though.

Clichy crosses well. Crossing is not easy, ask Alves. He is also a good passer and has good techique, and is difficult to beat on the 1 on 1. I agree with you that his positioning and decision making are meh, but I'm sure he could improve his game a lot with us, where full backs get a very easy and precise role. Gio, Sylvinho, Abidal... all stepped their game.

Indeed, but I think first now its not what we need. Not unless its someone was great physical gifts.

Alaba was extremely impressive against Madrid, the kid has got legitimate talent. I wouldn't mind if we signed him. I doubt he would though.

Rumors on Iborra are about him being Puyol's replacement.
