Yeah... everything's being run around his system. He'd be crazy to leave. Needs to win big trophies though. Patience at Madrid is about as long as my 3 year-old nieces....

Yeah, Mou staying isn't as bad as we thought initially. As for the squad, I have several things I wouldn't mind happening:

A) Get Di Maria a right foot
B) If (A) can't happen, get Hazard
C) Tell Cristiano choose a hairstyle and stick to it. Consistency is key here.

Sell Granero, Antilop, Lass and replace them with Mvila and Kyle Walker.

He can achieve something historical with this squad, so leaving at the end of the season will be just insane.

If Mou is convenced that SR4 should stick at his post, and we have renewed to Carvalho, so what are you going to do with our CB sub ? (speaking of Albiol at least)

Kyle Walker? A good player who can be very good but why would one want him?!

he is very very fast. can dribble and cross and a very balanced Rb in term of attack and defence.

We need a speedy monster, some one who makes that super fast diagnoal run. especially since all our attacks go to left.

Maybe preliminary Copa tours or the rest of the CL matchs !! Other than that, CB sub should be warming up till Pepe, Ramos gor Arbeloa get injured.

Mou won't rotate Ramos and Pepe just becouse they need to work on their communication. It's noticable they need to work on theirs aswell.

Thus why I think Varane should have went to Man U (for his devolopment sake)

If we are going to buy a RB, we might as well sign Isla. He is the best available RB out there. His maturity, experience, versatility would be a huge plus, and there is no language barrier. Walker doesnt compare to him.

Like i said, not sure we need one because that's blocking Carvajal, but if we have to, then he is the one.

isla, not a big fan though. i like much much fast fullbacks.

Isla is more of a RWB and we already have Marcelo. Playing with 2 very attacking fullbacks could be risky. We might as well stick with Arbeloa who is solid and use Carvajal as second choice. Arbeloa is 28/29 Carvajal could slowly integrate into the team.

Ok Nick & Sports, say that new DM is M'Vila. I'll assume for the moment that Lass and one of Granero or Altintop leave (I don't think all 3 will go). How does M'Vila accept back-up or at least rotation play. He'll be competing with Khedira, Coentrao and Granero or Altintop? And at times with Alonso or Sahin.

I agree with him,no need for another RB when we have the spanish U19 RB with us.Not to mention we need more spanish players

Carvajal is 2 years away from being ready and we have no cover for Arbeloa assuming Lass leaves... we need to sign depth there.

M'Vila will be ok with rotation for a year. In the second year, he'd expect playing time to increase with an eye on starting. Same deal with every young player frankly. That's why you need to cycle them through.

Knowing how hard M'Vila works, i'd be surprised if he didn't force himself in sometime in the first year.

It's a difficult sell, but like i said, you need to trim the line up to bring him in. The real problem here is coentrao, so there is still a chance we dont sign a DM.

But that means you dont sign a RB, and you work on playing M'vila in a deeper role. ex: Ramos-Pepe/varane-M'vila/Javi-marcelo. You do it occasionally for rotation or depending on injuries and such. That's why i wanted Javi, he can be competent as CB, but i know that M'vila can also play as a RB. You tell M'vila that he will get lots of minutes everywhere, in 2 years, guys like Xabi might slow down, and if he is better than Khedira, he will beat him for a starting spot.

Like i said, Coentrao is the only bump here, Mou can try to turn him into an all around DM and stick him there, and then maybe sign a RB. many combinations. Signing a pure RB, that will only be used as RB, can potentially clog the line up.

OK next question, since you (or Sports) say he is young and will accept some rotation, is can he play RB as cover? If so I'm all for it. I still think we won't get rid of all 3 (Granero, Altintop and Lass), but there will be 2 of them going and to me, it's Ok to bring M'Vila in under those circumstances. It will however put Mou in a bit of a bind re Coentrao unless Marcelo gets hurt. Re RB, it still leaves the question, can either Coentrao or Marcelo play on the right, assume occasionally. And also re RB, all 3 of Albiol, Carvalho and Varane can play RB if they are really in need of cover. With Ramos moving to Cb, the pecking order for RB will be
Arbeloa, Ramos, Lass or M'Vila or Varane (if they all can play a decent role at RB), then Albiol and Carvalho. These are not necessarily WC RB, but they aren't terrible either. More than enough coverage until the kid is ready.
