Disagree.
With Torres back to his absolute best, Chelsea are right up there.

Squad depth, first team strength, player form, etc.
And Torres "back to his absolute best"? You are either taking the piss or kneejerking harder than any has ever done before...

Predictions aren't allowed, RedOranje. It's way too early in the season, you have to give it at least 3 months.

4 goals in his last 4 starts.
If he keeps that up until the end of the season he'd get 40 goals !
sorry man, but he is just super sharp.....We need Agger to elbow him again in a month , or he'll rip us a new one

@ Jewel: You could at least attempt to get the topic right. I made no prediction, I merely gave an opinion on different sides' strengths in relation to each other.

Squad depth? chelsea have drogba, mikel, anelka, malouda, alex and david luiz on the bench to name a few..
First team strength? look at chelsea run in the league and europe. City won't even make it out of their group
Player form? who isn't in form for chelsea right now?

Re: Who will win epl this year
I absolutely am not taking the piss.
Torres will get 25+ goals this year in all comps.
I have zero doubts about that.
The c*nt doesn't even get injured these days, meawhile when he was with us he would always get injured for most important games (EL Semi, Title Run-in, etc)

Re: Who will win epl this year
ya i dont think chelsea are a "mile" behind city, city isnt even stable, might not even make it to the first knockout round of the cl, and might sink into oblivion at some point in the epl. not a mile ahead...
united? they are good, but not a mile ahead good either.

You agreed with gorooney when he said that Chelsea would finish a mile behind City and Utd. That's a prediction, you only brought the squad strengths later on. Not that I find anything wrong with making a prediction, of course.

Agree. Just replace Mikel with Meireles
IMO the performance vs Utd said a lot. We practically matched them and that is not what could have been said last season. Of course we have to get the results too if we want to win, so we'll have to wait for that. Not getting too excited by our current form though, seeing as December is approaching

Re: Who will win epl this year
As much as it pains me to say... title will go to Manchester.
Chelsea and Arsenal are years behind in terms of quality and depth.

Re: Who will win epl this year
I personally think that Chelsea are close to United and City. I tipped Chelsea for second and I still think they're a great chance over City for the runner-up spot, though I predict that the January window may be crucial to their hopes. In as much as not only how they change their squad but also what their competition does.
I predicted Chelsea to win the title last season, so let's hope I'm wrong again and Super Mario brings it home.
