They're signing several deals with important Brazilian companies (primarily Banco de Brasil) which are much more lucrative long term investments, and they need Neymar for that. Plus they get to challenge all honors with their team and best player intact. Also, second parties get NO compensation due to him leaving as a free agent, yet Barca will still compensate 15m because they're cute and cuddly.

So it's win win for Santos, and I guess a win for Barca?

they got a lot of stuff right from the deal tbh,from the 56M offer to the medical Nerman did.

Highly doubtful.
