Just think about the threads on here whether Geoff Hurst's goal had crossed the line in 1966 and Maradona's hand of god in 1986

An 18 year old youth player kept the undisputed best player in the world and one of the greatest of all time in his pocket for 90 minutes. Didn't even touch the ball in the first half.
Think of the trolling that would have ensued. JUST THINK HOW EPIC IT WOULD HAVE BEEN.

"Maradona"
Gil: "Greatest cheater ever perhaps. It's a disgrace, a fkn disgrace! Nice Run Though."
Sciacca: "DIEGOOOO!!! Italy are going to the Finals baby!!!!! It would suck if my country, Italy were cheated out of a world cup."
Lionel Messi (Diego Maradona): "ARE YOU MAD????? FACE IT THAT ENGLAND ARE SHIT AND MARADONA STEAMROLLED YOU!!!"
Mole: :Yh he may be a fat cheating c*nt but that doesn't take away from his talent, plus we were sh*t, we deserved to lose that."
Catracho: "Typical of argies, insisting on cheating when things aren't going their way."
Khaled: "If you thought that was great.,,then check out who's coming up!!! Lionel "Pulggagagag" Messi!!!! (Sperm) He will conquer !!!!!"
Crimson: "Diego ran past 6 players in 9 seconds, he dribbled past one every 1.5 seconds. This is his 2,667th dribble in international football. WHY THE FK AM I TALKING ABOUT THIS HE AINT NO REAL PLAYER FK!"
Babun: "This mean Diego's on route to facing Germany ......... ...... FK!"
Lex: I gotta make a gif of that English defender who failed to tackle Maradona, spurs defender ofc."
McLewis: "Sublime goal from El Diez, not too content with his handball though."
Ganso: Still a poor man's Pele , can he score on a hot night in Coritiba?
Steviegypfc: "nice goal"
Realgunner: what...the..fk.... crappy spurs defending a fat argie lol
Azewalin: Best Argentine 10 ever. No one will ever match him, not even John Rambo's Roomate.
Sepi (with picture of George Michael as his avatar): What a fat c*nt he is! Who does he think he is? I swear if we ever got a chubby little south american on LFC destroying and mocking the English. I will start watching hockey....
The Franchise: This is why there has to be a midfielder who's job is to completely break down any plays happening between the opposing midfield and the defensive line, personally I'd get a defender who is comfortable on the ball with great work rate and line him up with a CM, the other does the offensive work, while the "makalulu" does all the dirty work, and distributes the ball. Perhaps maybe in the future my theory would be applied in the game.
