Only still 21. However, he's at that stage in his career where he needs to play in every game whether at Madrid or elsewhere. He needs to make some selfish choices now.

Re: Rodrigo the next big thing in Spain
He's still a better sub than the likes of Bale, Hazard, etc. Both he and Asensio are not starters but are capable subs despite their problems. All of the starter issues will be worked out over the summer. The issue then wil be is the backup roles best suited for the two of them? I'd say in the case of Asensio, yes, but for Rodrygo, as Sports says he needs to play and that won't happen at Madrid next season so he will be best to go out on a loan.

Re: Rodrigo the next big thing in Spain
It is weird, initially I thought Rodrigo was the better of the two favela kids. He just seemed more mature.
But he has stagnated. I haven't seen any development in him since joining Madrid.

Re: Rodrigo the next big thing in Spain
Oops, my bad. I knew there was a reason why their names are spelled differently Rodrigo vs Rodrygo.
And Hans calling us clowns for not recognizing a spelling is a little much coming from a known troll.

The 21 year old is Rodrygo, with a Y. The one the thread title describes currently "plays" for Leeds.

Which was the occasion I bumped this thread - his horrible showing against Manchester United
he did however score a goal right after, which I think was a misguided cross

Scores even on a bad day wouldn't say he's the worst either.

I hope you know that I only meant it in a loving way
I wouldn't call Rodrygo a "horrible scrub" anyway, though, even after his years now at Real, I still wonder where he... Goes?
