Juventude wrote:You really have to hate life or be a huge dickhead to come on to an english-speaking football forum and be an asshole towards non-Italian Juve fans in a sport that is played and popular around the entire world.
I'm sorry, but there are Juve fans everywhere and being internationally popular is what helps make the club successful. That revenue and popularity is what helps them be successful within Italy and Europe.
If someone outside of the US was a fan of one of my favorite American sports teams, I would embrace that fan, not treat them like shit. My family is of Italian descent and I find this racism to be disgusting and archaic.
If treating non-Italian Juve fans like shit makes you feel better, that's fine. However, you're not a true fan of the team if you're a racist prick. However, I'll just chalk this up to you being a young arrogant kid. You'll learn one day.
So this is allowed but an emoticon is not ? Great system this forum has in place. I do not post for a few days and post three or four times here and yet I am punished for not responding to an Admin when I had not checked the thread in days.
What is funny is that an American of all people punished me; you would think a citizen of a country with the Fifth Amendment would know about the right to remain silent.
But wait, this is nothing constitutional. This is a forum made up of arbitrary people who try to impose their rule without even actually setting guidelines. One administrator thinks something different than another so you end up never appeasing them all. Fantastic system.

You're both in the wrong.
Juventude: We have taken a more lenient stance on insults in the past month but yours still cross the line. Please avoid them in the future.
JNC: You know the rules on discussing Admin/Mod actions and, quite frankly, with your record in the past and the second chances you've gotten you are about the last person I would have expected to complain about what we allow on the boards.

The man is blatantly racist and even though I have now ignored him and his twin but I can't wait for them to be banned for good so this forum can discuss football and opinions in a dignity

Honestly Red, I just wanted sensibility. If the Admins saw I posted back on page one, why is it reasonable to assume I would answer their question on page four ? Come on. I was not active here, and I was penalized because I did not explain myself when asked. Could they not have private messaged me ?
That is all I wanted. A bit of logic in this case; if you saw that I was not active in this section, or even at all for a few days, why not private message me ? My phone is synced meaning I would have gotten the notification, and logged on accordingly.
This is the second time, and I lost 50% combined. The other time was the same; I was told not to post within the thread, did not see it, posted like I normally would have, and was penalized.

Re: Juventus Fan Club - Lebanon, Beirut
Those accusing me of being a rasict are fools. I've never done anything or say anything to suggest such a thing. Quite frankly, it's no surprise. Because even when I'm not involved... I'm still blamed.
The facepalm on top there, was a facepalm to Fab and how he thinks he's right. Plain and simple, that had nothing to do with the picture.
GO TO PAGE 2
Look at the quote below. Now if that's rascit for you people, then clearly the ones who have no logic are you.
Go to page 2 and see what it says. NOTHING WAS RE-EDITED. The quote shows it above. Stop accusing me of being something I'm NOT bacala's.

Given that youre pleading for forgiveness on the basis of not returning to the thread for a while, you might want to show a bit of patience before complaining.

Not to be rude, but unlike you, I was inactive. You responded to one of the posts within this thread, whereas I did not, so I had not seen you, you have given the impression that you ignored it. Especially because one of the Admins took off another 25% without even telling me why.
Clear ?

Nothing was aimed at me in the thread from what I've seen, I've only read your latest comment, a few posts above. So no, I haven't ignored you.

I called for an Admin, it was not targeted at anyone, but rather, the general oligarchy you a part of. Besides, is it not customary that when a member loses 25% he is informed ? I was never informed, so I expected so much as a response.
This whole situation makes absolutely no sense. I use a forum-approved emoticon and say nothing else, and somehow I lose 50% of my warning level. Come on.
At least give me one now that I have your attention ?

I'm not an admin.
I can't answer anything specific having not been the one to lower your warning level.

Moderator.
So can you at least inform me as to who did it ? And why I was punished ? Nobody has directly told me anything except that I did not answer a question and was warned. Really ? It has come to the point where if I am inactive, I am punished ? Even so, since when was it a rule that my right to remain silent is no longer my right ?

Thank you. Do you at all support this conviction ? Since when was posting a forum-approved emoticon and nothing else worthy of a punishment, or being inactive ? There are numerous threads where people have posted an emoticon and they receive no punishment...then again, all are not me.

No offence, but warning over an emoticon and not being bowed down to is not really professional...sounds more like immaturity. A smiley face causes a war as does impatience. Geez.

Re: Juventus Fan Club - Lebanon, Beirut
In my honest and humble opinion when a team has a foreign fan he should be even more appreciated than home based fans. You see home based fans are bound to cheer for their team or the most succesful team in their country but us foreign fans have no obligation to cheer for Juventus. I wasn't born in Turin and no one in my family supports Juventus. I could have chosen any team in Europe to support going from Madrid to Liverpool and even to Milan but I chosed Juve.
I'm 23 years old and been supporting Juve all my life from all the way across the ocean. Who is anyone to tell me he's a bigger or better fan than me and what are his bases? Some people need a reality check.

You realize what is wrong with this statement ? Home based fans are bound to cheer for the most successful team in their country ?
Are you kidding me ? Find me a foreign fan who supports Catania. Chievo.
Is it any coincidence 70% of Real Madrid's fans are not from Madrid ? Guess what ? Same goes with Juventus. So yeah, great, sound argument. What a baseless assumption.
There is no such place as "Turin," just for your information. And yes, the fact you could choose any team makes you more of a fan ? That makes a lot of sense. I am a fourth-generation Juventino so honestly, if you want to do a quick comparison, by all means, start one up.
Home based fans are the ones filling the stands, by the way.
