The dates for 4 Carling Cup Draws have been set and:

Tuesday 29th
Arsenal vs City
Chelsea vs Liverpool

Wed 30th
United vs Palace
Cardiff vs Blackburn


They do everything to make sure United vs Palace is on TV, which meant putting the 2 high profile games on the same day at the same time...especially since Liverpool and City face EACH OTHER less than 48 hours before tuesday in the league.

You sure the Chelsea/Liverpool game isn't on BBC2? Though it is weird to have the two biggest ties of the round on the same day, BBC2 do air the Carling Cup for some reason.

No, Jay they only show highlights, Sky will show one on tuesday and one on wednesday(so it will be either Arsenal vs Mancity or Chelsea vs Liverpool)

I know BBC2 do the highlights, but they've been showing one of the semi-finals in recent years, too; our semi-final second leg against Ipswich was on there last year. So I'm wondering if they've got the rights to show a quarter-final, since it's totally odd to have the two biggest ties on the same day but only show one live.

i think its the same for this year, them showing only one leg of the semi-final, but dont worry strictly come dancing(loluwhat) will up the channels tv ratings lmfao
