Goal of the Month - September 2011

Arsène Wenger's side netted 14 times in October with half of those goals coming from Robin van Persie.

The captain scored braces against Sunderland and Stoke and hit a hat-trick in that stunning 5-3 win at Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey was on target twice last month and Theo Walcott, Andre Santos, Andrey Arshavin, Ju Young Park and Gervinho scored a goal apiece.

Well, RVP's goals against Chelsea were craploads important, but I've got to say, Walcott's new 'take a quick free kick, kick the ground, fall over, dribble past six players (I think) and hammer the ball past goalie' technique is really, really, quite good. They should put that in FIFA 13.

So, Walcott.

Theo vs Chavs without a doubt

1- Rvp Fk Vs Sunderland

2- Theo amazing goal vs Chelsea

3- Park Vs Bolton

I'm going to go with van Persie's second against Sunderland.

It was a difficult choice for me, since Arshavin, Park and Walcott all scored very good goals, but I can't help but feel that despite the good finishes, Bolton's defending was crap for both of the first two and there was a large element of fortune about Walcott's.

So in terms of actual quality, and the ocassion in which the goal was scored (winner in the last ten minutes), it has to be van Persie's free kick for me.

Yes, but I voted for Walcott's because of comical value, why can't you? ):
His finish was good.

Surprised to see everyone agree with me on Walcott's. Absolutely loved it.

I couldn't pick 10 out of 13 goals to put in the vote.. So I just grouped them based on games and players.

RvP free-kick vs Sunderland, was beautiful - and very important. So i choose RvP vs Sunderland.
