i have no problem if people consider gomez a big game man but by the same logic cr7 is a big game player too.. he has scored against teams of equally good or better stature in what are big games for his club.. just last night eg he was the reason for us breaking our stade gerland curse where the likes of raul,ronaldo,zidane couldnt score

I'm just defending Gomez because I know there are people that think that way, of the supposedly inferior Bundesliga. I just prefer Gomez even though Ronaldo is a great player.

But then again, I have a hard on for poachers.

If you're looking for goals from putting the ball in and around a box, then it's Gomez.

If you're looking for some attacking flair and getting past players, it's Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is the better all round player and Gomez is much better at being the striker.

Ronaldo is even better at poaching or equal. Godmez is fantastic but he is no.2 in tap ins while ronaldo is there

I personally think Gomez has grown to become the best striker in the world whereas Ronaldo has been the same player he was 5 years ago

You can't just put Ronaldo in the lone striker role and expect him to perform as well as Gomez. They're both great while in their positions.

And that is even when i consider that Gomez is the best striker is the world, Ronaldo adds much more, scores more goals, more assists....

That's true, ronaldo does need a free role to preform as I explained above. He doesn't play CF very good (unless its barca) because it restricts his runs.
