This is getting ridiculous
This is starting to be shameful. Referees are doing a very poor job. It is obvious that they are biased for to not whistle penalties in our favour, especially on Messi. I don't know what sort of reasons do they have, but seriously, Refs should evaluate their job and they will see that they have denied like 6 or 7 clear penalties to us in this begining of season
Today alone there was 1 clear penalty on Messi and 2 debatables.

It's not really that hard to figure out why we aint getting penalties. The "Villarato" campaign from the madrid media is starting to get results now.
But anyway, the refs will give you some calls for you and take some. Take Xavi's advice and relax about the whole thing.

I think we didn't get any penalty in our favour this season, so this clearly doesn't stand.
We are denied much more penalties than those that are wrongly awarded.

Re: This is getting ridiculous
Since even Marca.com are reporting on this you got to be sure it is scandalous.
However, i think we will get a batter end on this one, except for Valencia game where we lost 2 points, other penalties were pretty much worthless. So, finally when we really need a good call, chances are the refs will actually do their jobs.

Well not right now obviously. But I'd be willing to bet that on average by the end of the season we'll get about the same amount of penalties this season than the last two or so. It's just luck. Villarato campaign shouldn't affect CL.

Maybe not villarato, but mourinho crying to the press after the semi-final last season has affected.

Re: This is getting ridiculous
The second image jiopsi has posted is a HUUGEEE penalty. HUGE. Two players are grabbing him and one almost breaks his shirt.
Ref whistled Offside... that it wasn't.
Even Marca is saying that Refs are not seeing our penalties!!

Re: This is getting ridiculous
2 penalties IMO. 1st one is dubious, he seems to get some of the ball (same in Villa's goal).
Claims 2 and 3 look like clear penalties to me, Viktoria players don't get near the ball at all and there's clear contact/grabbing.
Ominiscent: take your trolling somewhere else.
Our players don't dive for the penalty, unlike your players (Dive Maria and CRdickhead). So this child story is bollocks.

Omniscient wrote:There was once a shepherd-boy who kept his flock at a little distance from the village. Once he thought he would play a trick on the villagers and have some fun at their expense. So he ran toward the village crying out, with all his might,--
"Wolf! Wolf! Come and help! The wolves are at my lambs!"
The kind villagers left their work and ran to the field to help him. But when they got there the boy laughed at them for their pains; there was no wolf there.
Still another day the boy tried the same trick, and the villagers came running to help and got laughed at again. Then one day a wolf did break into the fold and began killing the lambs. In great fright, the boy ran for help. "Wolf! Wolf!" he screamed. "There is a wolf in the flock! Help!"
The villagers heard him, but they thought it was another mean trick; no one paid the least attention, or went near him. And the shepherd-boy lost all his sheep.
That is the kind of thing that happens to people who lie: even when they tell the truth no one believes them.
We are talking about messi here, not cristiano ronaldo or busquets. So I don't understand why you are mentioning that story..

Re: This is getting ridiculous
As said, its probably the reaction of refs to the Madrid mantra, they don't want to be seen as favouring Barca. The best medicine is to keep winning, stop whinging.

Always felt that supporting the best team in the world currently doesn’t justify ranting about one or two neglected penalties.
We are better than that guys. Let it be

Again. It's not "two penalties". It's at least 6 or 7. We should also include many offsides and red cards not given to the opposition. It's the longest run of bad calls against us that I recall, ever.

Re: This is getting ridiculous
Still, nothing to worry about.
Someday they might cost us a significant game, however bad calls are happening all the time.
We should not reduce ourselves to deluded conspiracy enthusiasts like some other people I have in mind.
Our team and every team simply needs to be good enough to cope against some bad calls against them

Agree 100%. I don't express much sympathy towards those who come to this forum and complain about how their club lost to us due to bad refereeing decisions. So I am definitely not going to be a hypocrite ala Jose Mourinho and start complaining when decisions go against us.

He is an utterly shameless individual who can go to the dirtiest of levels if it can as much as add an iota to his chance of succeeding but that doesn't mean we have to become like him.
