That was some sloppy defending, especially since Kroos' first touch to control that ball wasn't very good to begin with. Sad

Lahm wasn't really in the mindset to defend against Maggio - he'd been pretty defensive throughout the game in an almost 4-4-2 against Ribéry. But he shouldhave been more aware

Badstuber did a good job and was just not lucky enough. Lahm was out of step in this situation.

Badstuber did a good job and was just not lucky enough. Lahm was out of step in this situation.

Maggio is playing a very good game, controlling that right flank. No surprise Napoli's equalizer came from that side, Lahm did seem to be in a bit of trouble.

Napoli's 3-man backline seems to be solely marking Gomez, but they'll have to watch out for those runs especially from Muller which will cause some problems if he gets too much space.

That was a dubious call considering the Van Buyten handball in the first half that the referee let go. Cannavaro was turning and his arm was stuck to his body judging by the replay I saw. The referee didn't seem too convinced either, or else he would've booked Cannavaro for it too imo.

Now Napoli's only two options are to go down the flanks or to play the long ball to Cavani. No options in midfield, Bayern are doing a good job of covering every option down the middle.

Bayern is pulling back now, but those counters are looking very dangerous. Napoli is a little too stretched out imo.

Better this than Madrid-Lyon.

Napoli is settling for the tie now with Cavani out for Dzemaili. Was just about to say that if Kroos would make a run from deep, Napoli would be in trouble, but with an extra midfielder in for Napoli, it'll be more difficult to get through.
