IF Interesting NPC's ends up on consoles then by all means go for the console versions but with Bethesda games you're really missing out if you can't get some of the most awesome mods. Each iteration of TES/FO is essentially a conservative collection of mods tacked on to the previous games engine. Hence why "save game destroying bugs fixed 3 games ago end up popping up again

I am 100% convinced the Skyrim remaster engine is the 90% FO engine which is the Skyrim engine with enb (and I could go on all the way to morrowind)

If that mod works on console i'd definitely get the game lol.

If i can find a way to get around characters and quests annoyance i can ignore the gameplay not really being my thing.

If RG knew that there were mods that add in GoT armors and such he'd be all about them.

Skyrim is much better on PC. If your PC can run it smoothly then play it.

I could tweak the settings a little; right now it's pushing a 980TI to its limit... on a 4 year old game

To think that there are Screen Archers who endure 2-5 fps just to get a good quality screenshot and those are the setting I can just play at

Oh and Skyrim Remastered? There's a mod for that too.

I can breeze through Hodilton's base settings ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDHkOMw6Hvc ) which are optimized for a GTX 970 and consists of only 45 mods (retextures)

My own set-up which has around 180 mods down to 2k textures for wine bottles and apples still rocks 70ish fps with dips to 45 in cpu bound known problem area if you have a script heavy set-up.



However it only takes a small fraction of the power to look half as good as mine or Hodilton's set-ups.

My own set-up isn't so shabby either
