The "new" CR7 Empty The "new" CR7

Post by Calebvision Sun Oct 16, 2011 5:09 pm

Not one bit surprised that Ronaldo is among the league leader in assists as he is, in my opinion, one of the world's best passers and, arguably, the most "comprehensively talented" player on the Globe. It's my opinion that, if he was void of ego, he could be a 40 goal/25 assist player ( all competitions ).

Having siad th above, I wil also say that I can't see him defering the goal scoring spotlight to Higuain much longer. He looked frustrated ( had a few chances to score, which he "blew" ) at the end and, it seemed to me, took awfully long to "join the celebratory pile" after goals!

This should be interesting to see unfold!

If anyone can point me to vide of the first goal, it will be appreciated. Thanks to Comcast, I didn't see it!

He is frustrated but his finishing has always been shite and becouse none else is taking our goalscoring chances he has always been scoring them. Now that he has to be conservative about his shooting just becouse Higuain is scoring is none but himself to blame.

Tbh Higuain didn't take his space he just did the better runs and CR7 has none else but himself to blame becouse he had 2 good chances (generously provided by Higuain)

I agree that Ronaldo, over the years, has blown an awful lot of opportunities, however, he, in my opinion, is the most active "run maker" on the Globe.

Mourinho should ride Higuain's "hot streak" until he gets injured, which I expect will happen.

Dude what's your problem.

Higuain went 4 years without a major injury now all of a sudden you think he is injury prone.Don't say things like this.

Sorry, but that is what I think will happen! I've been known to be wrong, however!

Hopefully, my mentioning the possibility, will not make it more likely to happen. for the superstitious types, on the RM forum!

Because it has happend recently!

Conversely, I never expect Ronaldo to get injured!

Call it "gut feelings" about players!

I always expect Rooney to get injured!

Well that's fair I guess LOL

I don't know man injuries can happen to anyone and Higuain is probably fully healed from that disc problem by now or at least extremely close to it.

I get what you are saying though some players just look like they don't get injured and some look like they do.

I'm just not sure if Higuain fits your description.

His passing is not crap. For someone like him (dont mention Messi), it is actually rather good when he wants. Just not AMAZING.

This........

However if he's just rational he could have 30 assists a season.

He's adequate/good enough at passing. Also his shooting has become poor recently.

Dont take it so offensively as i dont intend to put it like that. But you guys are so frreaking spoiled its unbelievable Laughing Here is a guy who scores 53 goals and 10 assists a season. Yet all i see is many of you guys bashing him left right and center. I will never grow to admire his personality, however as the old saying goes, " you will never know what you have until it is gone". And boy, i wish to see Ronaldo leave....cause judging by the comments you guys make it sound like higuain and benzema will "easily" fill the void.

My point being, there is a *bleep* guy in your team that scored the same amounts of goal in league last year as Racing, 41. :brickwall:

Typical Madridista to behave like spoiled children. So much talent has passed through the club that a lot of the older fans (particularly the Bernabeu faithful) have a real knack of pin pointing the flaws of players that seem, well, "flawless".

Yeah, I don't understand it either! The only theory I can muster is that it's "human nature" to gripe! The mentioned players can fill ( especially Higuain ) his "goal scoring shoes", in spurts, however, that is about all, as I see it. Then, of course, there is always the "it factor" whoch ONLY he has on the team, which affects the mental state/strategy of the opposing team.
Bashing a guy who will, likely, go down as on of the TEN best players ever, is amazing!
Now, I even read that he's a terrible passer, in some posts! Yeah...ok!!!!
