He won't get many chances unless PSG press like crazy. Which they should.

Poch is a big fraud. Had said this when he was at Tottenham. Doesn't matter what Pep changed at HT that day, Poch had it right in the first half but he just surrendered. You have Di Maria, Mbappe and Neymar in your team and you are still shit scared to play any sort of football.

PSG: Navas; Florenzi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Diallo; Paredes, Herrera; Neymar, Verratti, Di Maria; Icardi.

City: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Dias, Zinchenko; Gündogan, Fernandinho, B. Silva; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden.

PSG's changes from the third leg sees Bakker, Mbappe, Gueye out for Diallo, Ander, and Icardi.

City's changes see Zinchenko in for Cancelo and Fernandinho in for Rodri.

Zinchenko won that spot based on his first leg cameo. Fernandinho for Rodri is interesting. I'm guessing he's starting because of the leadership aspect and he can carry the ball forward when pressed. Rodri has constantly gave the ball away in bad positions this CL. Then again Fernandinho is 36, so starting him is still a risk. He's gonna need to put on a performance similar to the one against Liverpool in 2019 at the Etihad tonight.

Icardi, lets see how he does, obviously very different player to Mbappe who can do it on his own, Icardi can finished but u imagine he needs more clear cut openings made for him.

Gundogan playing like Xavi out there.

Saying the obvious, but Mbappe is sorely missed out there.

Icardi is easy for Stones and Dias. Stays mostly central, waits for the ball, offers little pace behind them, and basically forces PSG to cross.

PSG have been able to get passes behind City's midfield a few times and had Mbappe been out there they might have profited. But as it is, they're depending on Neymar entirely.

On the flip side, PSG can commit everyone forward and have both CBs in City's half because City have no pace on the counter.

PSG surprisingly look out of ideas, with Man C pretty compact so the front 3 is out numbered. Feel for Neymar since hes just so physically limited he gets bullied around even by Man C midget lol.... if only hes strong as Messi say...

No idea about Poc still, u would think when PSG have the ball and Man C defending they can do better, but they look even worst than Barca in the past few years facing a defensive block

Well sure, but City also had a couple good chances missed. I see it differently. I see a very well prepared team that has the opponent in their pocket. City don't allow PSG to do much.

Though City has been playing well. Honestly Pep corrected the stuff we complained about.

Lack of killers = plays midfielders as his forwards who are better at shooting than Sterling and Jesus.

Lacks control in midfield = tucks fullbacks inside, plays Bernardo in midfield, and KDB as false 9

Too experimental = has largely played the same lineup every knockout round

Tendency for brainfarts = they've made gaffs that haven't gotten punished. Dias is a serious defender too. He's like the Portuguese Ramos.

Only thing I don't like about this system is the lack of pace on the counter, but he doesn't want to take the risk of playing end to end. They've relied on luck for some of their goals, but most winners have that, and it's about time Pep gets that too.

Having all those mids mean they can pass PSG to death instead of countering. A luxury they can afford now they're 3-1 up in the tie.
