Hazard was alright. He seems to have regained a lot of pace, compared to the start of the season. I agree with you that there’s no point in believing that we’ve achieved something substantial at this point, but hey, this is GL

Hazard had a fantastic game. Was only missing goal. Even outran their defender in a sprint at the end of the game. He is getting fitter finally

Odegaard was unlucky. We had too much muscle for him. He lost many battles but made some really nice passes. I'd say that he was their best player. Some said itd be Oyarzabal but Dani had him on lockdown

Ramos with quite a few errors. Lucky that LaReal's frontline are full of selfish players who rather shoot from an acute angle than pass to an open

Though Casemiro-Valverde combo ffs must be a nightmare from opposition players having Casemiro on one side and Valverde on the other charging at them

We have more of a chance winning something with RM (these set of players) led by ZZ than any other manager. If we hadn't gotten him we would probably be out of the race by now. It's taken a while but we are finally assuring as a unit. It's easy to dismiss it as "it was inevitable" but last season and the one beforr too actually didn't stop us from playing consistently crap for a whole season not improving at all

Hazard definitely looked fitter. I have quite high expectations of him, though. Looking fitter and sharper than he was at the start of the season is great, but I know he can do better. Ødegaard looked quite slow and hesitant, but he hasn’t played in weeks and they took a risk in starting him against us. Valverde continues to perform and I think we’re all happy about that. I still wonder about his ability to sustain his explosiveness through longer periods as a starter, though. Our schedule has allowed him plenty of rest so far.

The way everyone else is playing, I am sure we would have been just as fine with Poch or Klopp at the helm. But even Zidane knows that this form would mean not a damn thing without a trophy at the end of the season. That being said, long may this form continue especially since if there was a time Madrid could put a beating on Barcelona in their own grounds (as they have done enough fucking times at the Bernabeu), it is now.

To be fair, it’s also conveniently easy to boil absolutely everything down to «must be the work of the manager», which is vintage Goallegacy.
