SPAL does have it in them to get these types of odd results against upper table sides. Their form overall may be poor, but they seem to like making life hard for the bigger clubs.

Good on them.

yea i also put Rusan as one the players i am excited to watch in 2020 thread
https://goallegacy.forumotion.com/t42274-name-5-players-you-re-excited-to-watch-in-2020

again atalanta is a team but this player is a nightmare to play against. beast presence, passing is great, eyes for goal in unexpected position in an unexpected time, and seriously the way he hunts for getting back position and hit in counterattack is crazy.

if there is anyone i would like in midfield for milan is him ; would be great to see him play often though

Napoli-Lazio coppa QF starting

Lazio is on a 13 game winning run in italian competitions. By far the most in form team in the league. Looking forward to Immobile beating them again within 2 weeks of the last match.

Lobotka and Demme starting for Napoli.

20 minutes in

Great Insigne goal
Immobile slips and misses a penalty
Yellow cards and chances
2nd yellow card for an obvious tactical foul by Hysaj, Napoli with 10

This game wasted no time to turn up the intensity all the way

Lucas makes what looks like a good tackle but the foul gets called and he gets carded. Honest mistake though, that was a hard call. Lucas then complains and says something to the ref, red card.

Wtf is happening with this game.

It's still a pointless competition, its sole purpose has become to give a chance at a trophy to teams not named Juventus

but I don't see it now, unless maybe Juve or Inter try for him in a couple seasons

new era Di Natale

He was a failure at Dortmund, Sevilla and Italy for a reason. He's a fraud, he's good only when Lazio are allowed acres of space. Park the bus and he's a nobody

That definitely ain't a PK though. Correct decision was made in the end.

Extraterrestrial Juve. This high pressing, high backline, quick movements style with Sarri is so good when it all clicks.

This midfield is so much better. What a difference it is to have a proper midfield, same for the R16 CI, hope to never see Matuidi again.

Danilo is even playing an excellent match. Bentancur is our best midfielder in this period, this season is the confirmation that he became a protagonist. Rabiot >>>>> Matuidi but that's no surprise.

Higuain and Ronaldo playing perfectly. Douglas is playing well even if he is the quietest one, good option to rest Dybala.

Buffon only had to intervene once iirc. Bonucci, Rugani and the test of the backline have been on everything.

Costa is probably managing himself because he had an injury scare (again) after that slalom in the beginning of the game

Rabiot had a big advantage on that long touchline pass from Ronaldo, but Florenzi almost got there first because he was jogging. He looks like another Rugani, he usually plays without intensity and/or is overwhelmed by pressure. He's a mamma's boy, so it's not exactly a shock

Hard to call him a failure in Dortmund when he barely started and did score enough in his appearances.

By top teams if we mean Juve yes that is his bogie team yet he has performed for Lazio against all other clubs and for years now and he is a counter-attacking striker as is how Lazio play. Many of his best goals are from tight space. Its time to give Immobidone the credit he deserves. Carrying the team for two seasons straight now.

Rabiot was bound to perform eventually Rincon. Very high footballing IQ just starts as slow as he does in games. Used properly he is a coach's perfect rook.

Cristiano does this every season for years now. Has his off-periods and then turns it up to white heat and is unstoppable at the moment. Happiest I've ever seen him as a whole too. That clearly is a factor.

Immobile loves scoring against us. Already did so this season, against Napoli too, and Milan, Fiore, Roma, Atalanta, etc. Pretty much scored or assisted against every big team he faced this season. Incredible level of carrying he does

Yes we had been waiting for Rabiot until the last month or two. He was shockingly out of form after spending a season out of football. Now he is integrated and makes me forget the horrors of Matuidi. He definitely still needs to take charge more, impose himself more, play with more intensity. But this is growing and it looks very good so far. He needs Bentancur's attitude and he would dominate.

Well there we go then further proves my point. Like Lewandowski to Higuain to a couple of others, Immobidone has been a meme to critique upon this forum for years now but indeed he has been the heart of Inzaghi's Lazio as a whole.

Matudi's playstyle was never sustainable for a man his age as he literally is all hard-work yet his body cannot sustain it anymore despite a respectable career.

Rabiot has been a huge talent from the ranks of parents since Carlo's days in PSG as his talent was unquestionable. Just such a weak mentality but Sarri has discovered he is best used at his own pace.

Cengiz Ünder, not that of a good player after all. doesn't have zaniolo's tenacity, threat on goal, or creating opportunities, always does this high ball crosses that goes to nowhere or intercepted easily by defenders. hope milan are not foolish to get him....

zaniolo is going to be missed by Roma badly. just realized how zaniolo for that matter has outgrown Ünder and outdone him to starting lineup and how Roma is reliant on zaniolo

for that reason i would still love to have worn out, retiring matic than kessie on this team.

he has been in this club for 3 seasons, and year after year, game after game he is going worse. just jogging on the field, lazy player.

if EPL clubs are offering money, milan should sell him. matter of fact, players like kessie, calhanouglu, conti, mussachio (pretty much mirabelli players) contract runs out on 2021.

Under is the Turkish Suso. To think that Roma would be able to field Ziyech there if Monchi didnt royally screw them.

lol so true. the only thing Ünder has over suso is pace and he doesnt even utilize properly. Juve is having easy on that flank, and not the first time.

oh man i m big Ziyech fan here... and i would sell my one nut to see Ziyech at milan...
and good point! heard news that Ziyech felt royally screwed by Monchi. Deal was pretty much done apparently him going to AS Roma according to him before it got abandoned and Monchi went to Sevilla and wanted him again which Ziyech said no... because he felt he got screwed up and in fact then renewed contract with Ajax.

If Ziyech was in Roma right now, then i can assure everyone that Roma will be banging goals after goals after goals... this guy is such a team player and assist maker. his left foot is the best i have seen since robben.

Whoever gets Ziyech, they will have golden goose! Ziyech is a mad talent!!!

I frankly don't care much about this result as the Coppa wasn't attainable for us anyway. Good, but unsurprising win for Juve.

As for Cengiz, I still rate him. He's struggled for form after his injury, but when he's on his game, he's something else entirely. It's entirely possible he could re-discover that form in the wake of Zaniolo's injury. This would be the best time for that to happen and he's got plenty of good players around him to help him.

Just one of those players that is great when in form and rough on the eyes when out of it. Meh.

Back to the league, which matters to us above everything else.
