Fun koncept.
Ruined by hammy dialogue that only wasn’t hammy when it had to hit you with some exposition.
Directing was awful and the action scenes were impossible to have any orientation in. And one action scene led to another all the time. And every time an interesting character showed up they never did anything at all. Never said anything. Hell, the villain has 2 minutes of screen time.
Also thought the make-up looked incredibly fake after a while. Also a reveal later on was so god damn obvious and cliche. Movie felt like it had a struggle with its race themes.
There was one great scene, the last interaction between the cops was great. Sadly I had to spend two hours to get there.

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
5/10
It does have 99 suspense for MT though.
edit: 6/10 after recent trauma

Stop this trolling.
Also watched The Fifth Element for the first time today.
Bad movie. Somewhat saved by Milla being Milla. Gary Oldman as cringe as ever. Guy goes over the top in the worst way in most of his roles.

Saw The Disaster Artist yesterday, best movie of the year for me. Franco nailed it as Wiseau, legit think he might be a top oscar candidate. As for the movie itself, i felt as if it was more on the comedic side, dont know if it'll win best picture. Still i enjoyed the movie, 9/10.

Rings (2017)
I knew what i was getting into so don't even judge.
This is arguably one of THE worst films I have ever seen in my life. Like this was torture level bad. The original Ring film was decent. Nothing too bad about it. But this one holy shit. Butchered Samara and butchered the entire lore. Wasn't even Horror in the end.

Watched 10 cloverfield lane a while back, was good imo. Don't breathe is much more suspenseful though.

Of course. I wrote an article about Serbian cinema last year. Not a lot of recent culture from there. That one is the only famous one

Didn’t watch it.
Most of all this movie felt organic and the *bleep* up-ness of the film really stems from how real the movie felt. At no point did I feel like it was just to get a reaction. a Serbian Film just sounds like a stunt without substance.
Also watched Isabelle Huppert is Elle. Another great film that’s really provoking and f’ed up.
Felt like Verhoeven doing his best Haneke impression, meant as a compliment.
Watch Elle or The Piano Teacher. Not easy watches, but great films.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
Yea serbian film is exactly that, *bleep* up for the sake of it as it has no story.
Elle sounds like a film which has no good ending lol. Can just tell.
Might watch The piano teacher.

I’d say Elle has the better ending by far.
I’m running out of movies to watch with happy ending.
My watchlist is only rated R dramas at this point.
