did you fight that NPC invader in that area btw? you can fight them after beating gael if you missed it, actually gave me a hard time lol

also those ringed knight twin greatswords are insanely OP in pvp lol

Which NPC invader? I only fought 3 so far. One was that pyro and the 2nd was before the swamp and the 3rd in that ruined tower place

an NPC invader around the area you fight Gael, maybe that's what you mean by Ruined Tower

I always run out of estus in the end man

I can beat him if i have like 3 estus more at least.

I will beat him within 3 attempts with my other build. Probably less.

Gael has a really cool moveset, seen a lot of conflict about him as a final boss of the dark souls series, on one hand it's cool that some random pleb made it until the end of the world with you, on the other I wish it would have been someone with more impact in the series

although the true final boss is the optional one I guess, in terms of difficulty

I would cry, remember that happening against Orphan of Kos on my second attempt, got him to a similar state and he went berserk and ruined me with a 5000 hit combo, didn't get him back to that state for another 10+ attempts ffs

does that weapon do good damage for you pure melee?

It's always the one final hit.

Nah I knew he is the final boss. I'll talk more about it later. Need to beat him first.

Does okay damage. It's good because I can use pyromancy with R2 while melee with R1.

I got him to that stage again lol. Died again because my stamina recovery is awful.

He is not as hard as Orphan of Kos btw. Probably not even in the top 5.

nothing in dark souls is as hard as the hardest in BB tbh

Darklurker pissed me off and took me 3-5 attempts in DS2 but I had an insane OP build that they nerfed, I bet it would have been tougher in that without it

Took me like 15 tries to beat darklurker

Was harder than sir Alonne ffs


Btw phase 2/3 music of Gael is amazing.

There is literally no window to hit him at the end lol.

Like I said, i can easily take him on with my other build. Pyromancy takes 20 hours to cast a spell ffs

aren't their sets and stuff that reduce casting time? never looked into optimizing a spell/pyro build on this
