I used to buy all my games or a majority via my US account because they got games early and the exchange rate was very favorable. Make a US Amazon account and buy instant PSN credit through the site with a made up address. You can get the PSN codes sent immediately after checkout, then just add it to your account on PS4.

Still got that Beverly Hills address or whatever you gave me Firenze years ago to buy games through Amazon

I have a US account and it refuses to add my UK bank card, its just the way that is sadly, its retarded. Even tried adding it link my Paypal but it doesn't accept it since my Paypal is UK. Its one of the most retarded-est things ever, especially in such a globalized world. Sadly, this can only be said for console gaming, its a neanderthal mechanism that doesn't seem like it will be addressed anytime soon. It has been like this since the PS3 days, and it was the same with the Xbox 360

The first half an hour or so of Yakuza 0 didn't really catch my attention, but I'm really liking the story so far, now that I've been through Majima Goro's first chapters. The story's starting to become pretty damn exciting. The sidequests and minigames are fun, too. Money well spent You should really try and advance the story some more Firenze, unless you intend on buying another game very soon.

Sony has confirmed boost mode and offered a statement about its capabilities. According to word received by The Verge, boost mode "lets PS4 Pro run at a higher GPU and CPU clock speed in order to improve gameplay on some PS4 games that were released before the launch of PS4 Pro. Games that have a variable frame rate may benefit from a higher frame rate, and load times may be shorter in some games too."

Basically it's one of the features of the new update, it's only for unpatched games.

Some of the results look ridiculous though, for example some are saying Witcher 3s loading times are twice as fast and the frame rate is a lot better.

This might convince me to get a Pro lol.

Considering that the PS4 Pro is a PS4 in Crossfire those are the type of benefits that even I believe.

How long does it take to load a save on Ps4 Witcher anyways?

Depends on what you are loading into.

Sometimes it can take up to a couple of minutes lol, it's by far the most annoying thing about the experience.

Well that and the inventory lags ( patches have made that smoother than it was at launch though)

Loading into the game isn't that bad ( not as fast as that obviously ) but it can't be quite slow when you die or loading onto another map like Novigrad to Skellige for example.

Loading times used to be an incentive to not die, I remember why now

Yeah, luckily i don't die much as i almost always prepare for a fight and my build is OP as shit anyway so if i die it's usually because i get too cocky for my own good.

NiOh is already getting pretty high scores by critics. I've already decided that I'll get For Honor, but part of me wants to boycott Ubisoft

I think i should get For Honor though because Horizon comes out two weeks later and unless i finish Nioh before then i won't touch it again for months.

I'm more likely to come back to a Multiplayer game for an hour here and there tbh and get Nioh when it's dirt cheap later in the year.

figured Nioh would be getting a metacritic of around high 70s tbh, kinda surprised to see it reviewing insanely well

looking forward to it tbh but also after watching some recent footage and reading comments genuinely seems like it's going to be way way way harder than any dark souls game

I obviously have played a very small portion of the game obviously being beta and all but i don't think it's THAT Hard.

I feel it's more of a difference of style of play and getting used to it from Souls players if anything. The game more than anything just really punishes over-aggression and is a lot more about managing stamina and using the Ki mechanic ( basically refills stamina if you time it right)

I like it a lot more than Souls and Bloodborne though, for those type of games i like the gameplay to be really, really fast.

Bloodborne was more in that direction which is why i enjoyed it but can't be arsed to re-install it but Nioh is even further in that direction.

Plus i think i prefer the Feudal Japan style over the Victorian kind of style of Bloodborne tbh.

Had a day without work or any other plans today. Played Yakuza until 4am in the morning and somehow managed to sleep until 7 friggin pm! Checked my phone when I woke up and I had 16 missed calls.
