When will he be sacked?
Re: Vincenzo Montella sack watch
For me Ljajic is incredibly overrated, the best player in the world when it is November but then there are 11 months, and besides, sorry for him , but November has just 30 days, not even 31
I thought he was legit for Torino, but he is incredibly inconsistent even there. Fraud imo. Similar level with those.
Kucka is better than Aqua ffs
Barreca is the future probably, but I feel if you give Antonelli (the best Milan fullback ) to Torino he makes same things
Benassi is good, but he is a highlights player , that is the reason why many overrate Torino . It's a good squad for Torino level , but I feel if you give the same team to Milan , Milan fans would be not glad of it.
At the end Milan has more difference makers, that is the reason why they are above at table than them.
Rather, I ' d wonder if Atalanta are better than Milan looking at the table

Marginally better or worse, really its the idea that Milan is comparable to Torino that is a bigger problem for Milan than it is for Torino, given their stature and ambitions.

I kind of group all four of them similarly, Lazio, Fiorentina, Milan, Torino. There isn't much between them.
But Milan should be among Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Inter, or at least should aim to be.

Milan's run of 'good form' was never sustainable. The fact that we performed above our level for as long as we did is pretty surprising.
Montella should stick around. Let the Chinese give him the money to build the squad he wants and see how he does.

I would say the squad is better than Torino but not better than Fiore and Lazio

i totally agree. montella has done wonders in fact. but all the players we have is pretty much from last season, except few who came as either free transfers or loans.
there are lot of weakness but our silver linings that some of the young talented players we have, and i dont mind allowing them making mistakes.
montella said in the beginning that he is being realistic on how much this squad can achieve. and i agree that once chinese acquires the club, with new directors coming in, hopefully montella can get what he wants because its not fair to judge montella on pretty much same squad he inherited last season who finished 7th.
there is going to be more difficult times ahead for montella and milan until the end of the season, given that all top 7th team in serie a is showing some quality football this season

For me Milan fans should just wonder if they feel an upgrade than Sinisa and if it's enough an Italian supercup won for it.
Anyway I 'd not change him.

Jesus Christ just keep the guy. To me he looks like a capable coach, Milan have looked organized and like they're playing with purpose whenever I saw them.
The squad is so poor it's pretty clear who needs to be sacked. Everyone else from this board.

I didn't say he was in danger of being sacked. I said Milan were showing Pescara level form and Montella was one of the most overrated managers of the last decade. I think he's a good fit for Milan

Re: Vincenzo Montella sack watch
how is this clown not sacked yet
can't believe he keeps getting hyped despite under-performing for every single club
equivalent of a lad like Eddie Howe being hyped, but the difference here being he's managing prestigious clubs
Are Milan fans happy with this jabroni? time to stop looking at these former player italian league bumpkins and get a proven manager in

Of course he was renewed, it was barely even a doubt. He came, won over the dressing room and accomplished his objectives.

Re: Vincenzo Montella sack watch
Give context to the season. His objective was EL and he got it. He also won a trophy, the first one Milan has had in years.
Last summer Milan had 0 money because they were broke and being bought. The reinforcements to a poor team were Jose Sosa, Gustavo Gomez and Lapadula. On top of keeping a Bacca that didn't give a *bleep*.
At the beginning of the season they lost their captain (Montolivo) and he very successfully integrated Locatelli. Then they beat Juve twice and their season was looking really positive until they got hit by an injury crisis that a squad like Milan's can't survived. They lost their best player (Bonaventura), Romagnoli, Antonelli, De Scilgio, Kucka, Calabria, etc. at the same time. About 6 starters were injured. Still, he got them EL.
Sacking Montella would be nonsense and the biggest red flag that they owners could have pulled.

Re: Vincenzo Montella sack watch
Not seen too many happy Milan fans online this season and a lot have questioned Montella's tactics even with the shite squad. I don't think him winning over the dressing room is worth much when at least half of the team are surely going to be replaced this summer.
Milan could have gotten a better/more renowned coach in IMO this summer with their new financial backing and the fact their name still carries weight. Personally my prediction is that he's sacked by January.

Re: Vincenzo Montella sack watch
Which ones are the fans calling for Montella's sacking? can't remember any of them, they all blame the squad. The team needs a stable head, its good that the new board sees that.
What coach available is so much better and worth shaking the team again? Montella already navigated the team out of the worst times, it would be ridiculous to sack him now for the available alternatives.
