Re: Jürgen Klopp - New Liverpool Manager
Best manager in the world. Never for a single second did I lose faith him and it has been a pleasure watching him evolve for us let alone from his more youthful days in Dortmund. The driving force behind our wins. Danke schön Herr Klopp.

Re: Jürgen Klopp - New Liverpool Manager
So it has been 5 years since Klopp took over and the first match his line up was
It is just unbelievable when you look at the current squad or first XI now. What a transformed club Liverpool are now - from inside-out.
Goalkeepers
1. Alisson
Defenders
4. Virgil van Dijk
12. Joe Gomez
26. Andy Robertson
66. Trent Alexander-Arnold
Midfielders
14. Jordan Henderson
3. Fabinho
5. Georginio Wijnaldum
6. Thiago
8. Naby Keita
Forwards
9. Roberto Firmino
10. Sadio Mane
11. Mohamed Salah
In his last 5 years, he reached two European finals - one EL and one CL but lost them. Also reached few times finals of domestic cups but lost them.
He has won 1 EPL (first one for Liverpool after 30 years), 1 CL, 1 Club world cup, 1 UEFA super cup.
I think he has surely surpassed my expectations. Only thing to be seen now is if he is in the moulds of Sir Ferguson or Wenger or more like Pep/ Mourinho who will bring success in the short term but would not last for so long at a single club. Let's hope for the earlier.

We only have his past stints to go by, and his time with Dortmund leads me to believe that he's closer to being a Pep/Mourinho than he is to being a Ferguson.

Re: Jürgen Klopp - New Liverpool Manager
I don't think there will ever be a Ferguson/Wenger regime again. Managers also get bored and want a new challenge. Even Simeone, who seems to have been at Atletico forever regularly gets linked to moves away.

Nah, Dortmund actually rebounded under Klopp still, when he had already quit. I still think he would've readied that ship. His only problem was being heavily outspent, other than that he would've lasted, had he stayed. He's the real deal, because he's able to learn.
