11th and 14th of November

Can't get tickets it seems. Every game has been sold out since I moved here... And you have to have seen other qualifiers to get in front of the line.

Hopefully there's some left when I can buy.

On a more serious note, we just lost a very important player and our captain. Hopefully this does not demoralize the team. We already have several players that will miss the games due to injury and now this happened.

Big blow. Now the decision is up to Gareca whether to play Ruidiaz or call up Pizarro or call up some random scrub striker in Peru.

Hopefully this gets resolved and Guerrero is able to play but doubt it. Worst case scenario is that he gets a longer suspension.

Do Italy always play like this away? They've been utter trash, Veratti, Bonucci, Chiellini and Buffon the supposed veterans are playing as if it's their first game against Spain or Germany ffs. They can't make a clean pass to save their lives and Veratti has coasted through thie whole half

Luckily for Italy they're playing Sweden.

Yeah, it's kinda written in the stars Sweden is gonna get sucker punched. Hard. Shame really, you guys are playing really nice stuff. Clean passing, nice runs into channels, top stuff. Italy is playing like they believe that they'll get a goal from nothing since their football is matching the "nothing" part. Bit disappointed but it is what it is.

Un fortunately I think you're right. Our team isn't half bad, certainly better than the support cast Ibra had but man the goalie is pure comedy. Itality should look to get FKs and corners and watch this man take 5 mins to make his mind up whether to come out or stay on his line ending up in no mans land. I do think we'll score though because we always do

Ventura is a terrible manager. The team isn't half bad. Italy would be humiliated in Russia with this manager anyway. Elimination is the best thing, a reboot is needed from the leadership of the FIGC to the manager.

Buffon was still decent last season..couldn't speak on him this season as I've not watched him but there's no shame if he is done. Been on top for decades.

Good luck to Sweden but we need Italy in the WC. No excuses for second leg.
