Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
we don't have great defenders but it it more down to organisation. I mean we have one of the best attacks in the lge but if relagation fodder can snuff us out with a good game plan and organisation then we should be able to do the same to them. every team that has rolled us over this season would swap squads with us in a heart beat. I agree we don't have the quality in our squad to win the title or compeat in the champions lge but we have more than enough quality to beat the relagation scrubs that are beating us all the time.RealGunner wrote:Lack of defence or defensive organisation?

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Just to be clear we're undefeated against top 6 teams in the PL (including beating Spurs in our previous match), but our players aren't good enough?
Interesting theory. Sounds lazy.

If you score more goals you win more points. That's why Rodgers got more points than Klopp. Because he had the peoples champ and Klopp has a bunch of losers.

Yeah make up some fantasy season when we're talking about an actual year of football that happened. Because why the hell not.
Garbage teams were scoring for fun against Liverpool coached by Rodgers. Palace 3 goals, Swansea 3 goals, Hull 3 goals, Everton 3 goals, Stoke 3 goals, Cardiff 3 goals. And you only lost one of these games because the team outscored them.

wtf are you talking about. my point is this team score lots of goals so goal scoring is not our problem. our season has ended because we cant defend for shit its not that hard to understand is it. jesus Christ you are hard workzigra wrote:Yeah make up some fantasy season when we're talking about an actual year of football that happened. Your point is a lot of unsubstantial nonsense, that's all it is. You lost most of your points in games in which you scored 1 or 0 goals. You literally lost two games in which you scored more than 1 goal jfc.

but if we kept clean sheets we would have won them games 1-0 or drawn them 0-0. yeszigra wrote:Your point is a lot of unsubstantial nonsense, that's all it is. fails to make top 4 this season I think he's gone, unless you have a deep CL run which I'd say is unlikely. You'll probably get your wish end of the season.

Expected little bit more from him tbh. His stint has been quite underwhelming. I admire the guy but I think he needs to go.

we wont make top 4. Chelsea city spurs and man u are far more consistent than us. sure we will play well and turn over one of the big teams but that's about it.Firenze wrote:fails to make top 4 this season I think he's gone, unless you have a deep CL run which I'd say is unlikely. Imagine sacking Klopp now and another coach has to have a go with this squad
Nonsense, of course. Let him work and buy some players next time around.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Are you serious, his had chances to buy players, the players he buys are questionable, the fact that we had two main targets and decided to not pursue anyone else shows the coach has thrown this season into the bin. His shown zero ability to fix the defensive issues we have, not even vvd will fix this mess.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
He's going to be here atleast until December next year regardless.
FSG won't sack him when they are always unable to sign his players and he still manages to get the results with this team. Hopefully he sorts it out again until January so that we're close to the top 4 when the window opens.

Liverpool have a great lot of attacking players and a very good CM joining next summer so all a new manager will have to do is fix the defence.Hapless_Hans wrote:Lucifer wrote:Expected little bit more from him tbh. His stint has been quite underwhelming. I admire the guy but I think he needs to go.

I don't understand why he didn't attempt to sign a controlling CM. Those are the players who help beat a parked bus, as they keep the ball moving around the opposition's box which creates chances. They also help decrease opposition counters.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
He's signed a controlling CM for next year. He's put us back on the map. He won't go until we lose out on it properly again similar to Rodgers aka Klopp is here for atleast 1-1.5 years more minimum.

Could have done with some € 150 million to strenghten the team, eh?

They surely would have sold Coutinho if Monaco had let go of Lemar.

There won't be another manager. Liverpool would be absolutely stupid to sack Klopp. He's the best you can get.

Keita is NOT a controlling CM.
