This news really disappoints me. I honestly thought Liverpool would be his next club. I hope he does well but it's inevitable that he'll be benched for most of his time at Madrid and will be sold for peanuts afterwards. Hopefully we're there to take advantage.

Unlike Madrid, Barca, Bayern, etc., Inter would be fined by UEFA for exceeding FFP parameters, like Man City and PSG were. Both were fined 50 million euro, more than the price of Kovacic.

Poor or not poor, there are a few other players they could have sold or taken off their wage bill before Kovacic.

Kovacic is never worthy of 40 mln atm , anyone is saying he was overpriced in Italy .
It is much on potential.
And his potential is worthy of a great price imo.
Honestly, I think he can reach Verratti easily or being even better than him.
Just needed of a manager to develop him.

Verratti met Zeman who is the best manager  about develop players , if he didn't meet Zeman now he 'd be a  CAM (and not  a CM )  Giovinco-esque,  Kovacic met others managers and when Mazzarri was the best to use you .. there's a problem.
The talent is definitely real. He is not a fraud as Shaqiri.

I  have most doubts about Real ' s environment, it doesn't looks like the ideal place to develop these players, but anyway we'll see
