This year is showing that possession football is losing out to effective defense and counter attacking football for sure. Most of the time thats more boring but I really think these 2 teams do that but are entertaining for the most part as well.

I think Atletico will be very defensive again and wotn risk pushing up high since Real do deadly in those situations, so Real will find it hard to penetrate, and it will be low scoring.

Heart wants Atleico to win, that would be amazing for them, but head knows Real is clear favourites.

I don't see how Madrid are clear favourites.
Atletico have done very well against them recently.

Atletico to win. Would be the best achievement for me since Mou won with Porto. Goes to show you mentality is the most important thing in football. They always run. WIth the extended rest they will get RM are in for a fight for La Decima. They won't be able to counter like they did against Bayern and with Alonso injured, their distribution from the back would be nowhere as good. Literally cannot wait. 2 counter attacking teams, one trophy Proud

As a supporter of Atletico, Barca and Real Madrid I will be happy if either Atletico or Madrid win or lose. It's literally a win-win situation.
