As stated in another thread, implying that Roonay is worth 300,000 pounds sterling is absurd, as he does not produce near enough to be worth that much, let alone 250k.

If you are in the calibre of Suarez, Aguero etc winning games for your team on a consistent basis yet even then it is an absurd sum without a critique of reason.

Roonay the side of bacon just pissed on that philosophy more than once.

No players worth 300k pounds a week, but the part in bold is false. Rooney is on their level. He's probably been the most consistent player in the league of the last decade...

Only just seen this post now so apologies for the late reply.

Rooney's always been consistent. Maybe not for England, but at club level he has been. He's been the most consistent player in PL era since he's been at United. The only two that come close are Lamps and Stevie.

Henry was more consistent than Rooney in the PL era, and that's just off the top of my head. If I cared enough, buckled down and gave it serious consideration, I'd probably compile a laundry list of players

I didn't say the whole PL era. Or Henry is easily the best.

I said since Rooney's been at United, so since 2004.

Henry had 2 good seasons, and then struggled with injury before he left to Barcelona since Rooney's been a MUFC player...

I had read about RVP but imo it was nonosense to elect as captain RVP, just 2 years to United, and not Rooney.
Rooney is the best choice. Now ... omitting those contractual issues that had bothered even the United fans, he has also the leadership for that role. Well we are going to buy him in 2019, as we were doing for Cantona and done for Vidic
