Thank the football gods.

I don't feel as vindicated or happy with this as I thought I would. Mainly because I knew it was going to happen soon.

Anyways, let's hopefully bring in a an era of success already.

I do wish him well and predict he'll have a modestly successful managerial career, yet he never was the man for us and was picked by a baseball tycoon who were simply impressed by his presentation, and we all knew Brendan was a great talker with his inspiring words and mettle, yet he could not follow through.

Now I can actually watch my club with passion again, not going back into the days of hoping for their loss like I did during Hodgson's time.

I do not know nor will speculate who will be our manager as the talk will be raging now. Yet someone with actual tactical nous beyond just ideas and one who is a proven winner.

And until then, lets use this thread as speculation for his successor, or how losing weight had him lose his mind.

Edit: I personally predict Carlo coming in or Neil Warnock as RG predicted.

Personally? I hope for the latter.

It is critical that the management gets this right and not go for some scrub with 'potential'. You need an experienced hand at the helm.

Man this next appointment is going to be so massive.

We must absolutely get one of Klopp or Ancelotti. Anything like Howe, Monk, Pardew, Mazzarri will just turn everyone against the owners and will really show a lack of ambition.
