Alvarez is still living off the great 8 weeks he had at the beginning of the season. Mazzari somehow thinks that if he keeps playing him he will somehow will become world class, but as his experiment with Guarin shows this just doesnt happen.

Anyway, aweful game by Mazzari. Sure the goals were from poor defending, but a coach who keeps that Alvarez on the pitch, starts Kovacic from the bench, subs Milito in and give him the penalty should not be coaching in Serie A.

Anyway this probably sealed Mazzari's fate, he's just too much of a puss to coach Inter. Hopefully we can stumble our way into EL qualification and find a more fitting coach next season.

It's not Alvarez' fault Mazzarri changed his position.

When he was playing behind the striker he was fantastic.Then Mazzarri got the idea to put Ricky at CM and Guarin as AM and everything went downhill for us from that moment.He has also been struggling with injuries,it's obvious he hasn't been at full fitness recently.The amount of defensive tasks he gets now is also ridiculous,he doesn't get nearly as much freedom as before.The player with most flair in the team and Mazzarri takes his freedom.

Mazzarri is a glorified fitness coach with medieval solutions.We need a proper manager with a modern approach.Just look where Garcia got Roma,a team of similar quality to ours roster wise.

While Icardi is a cold blooded killer.He doesn't flinch for a second on the trigger...And doesn't give a damn about it.He just executes....

I never complain about refs before of matches but our tradition with Rocchi is awful and well known , as Chris Foy for Chelsea
