I've slighted Ramsey a considerable amount in the last few years, and he's making an absolute fool of me right now. He's playing very well at the moment and fully deserves his place in Arsenal's lineup over Arteta. (I know there was an injury involved, but does Arteta actually look like regaining a place over Wilshere or Ramsey any time soon?) He's made an enormous step up. Kudos to the lad.

He's probably as good defensively as Keane was these days. Been a while since I've seen a player win tackles from even the most obscure of angles without fouling.

He was good but he had some 2-3 headless chicken moments in/near the box,moments where he could've passed instead of shooting it for example.
He was very good but i wouldnt say it was a 'sensational' performance.Oezil was clearly MOM yesterday.

In the first half, in numerous occasions he won the ball back from Insigne (who was very selfish and disappointing last night), and then set up counter. And yes in a couple of occasions, the quick 1-2s on edge of the box, he shot where he could have passed, but you can't blame him considering his confidence and form. He had scored in many games in a row before this and probably fancied his chances.

an 8.5/10 performance minimum for me.

That game highlighted Napoli's desperate need for a proper DM and proper fullbacks. Zuniga is awful in 4 men system and Inler's decision making :facepalm:

. Almost certain Napoli will bid for Mascherano in January.

Stop it. Ramsey is already miles better than Speed ever was.

Speed was a slightly better version of Kevin Nolan. Nowt special.

I was comparing styles to start with and secondly..... Nolan didn't cover ground like Speed did, he didn't boss the tempo like Speed did and he didn't win the ball like Speed did.

The only comparison between Nolan and Speed is the ability to arrive late in the box but that is where it ends.

Its quite frankly disgusting how underrated Speed is, one of the best box to box mids in Premier League History but comparing him to Nolan rofl

Also Ramsey is not better than Speed was so stop it, he might be one day but as it stands he's nowhere close.

Aaron Ramsey is showing the quality we first saw but at so much of a higher level and degree. The guy has been absolutely fantastic for like half a year now

Half a year isn't that much to be fair but i just don't see why his level would drop. I would argue that he's the stronger player of the team, mentally wise, after all he has been through. Injuries, Critics etc..
I would like to know what his relationship with wenger looks like ..

Ramsey is our thomas Muller, our talisman ,.. future Captain !

ps: i used to dislike him more than any gunner.
