Back to PES after having annoyances online with FIFA 14. Either I'm doing something wrong or the crossing is overpowered in that game.

Its definitely overpowered if the demo is anything to go by....

Was so easy to cross and head it in.... i can't comment on the final product though.

Anyway has anyone had the computer adapt to their tactics on this?

They have adapted to the 433 i posted above leading to my usual gameplan being close to useless

So at the moment i'm trying to change the system to adapt to them

Never had to do this before its hurting my brain.

Winning Eleven Blog's one is good as well apparently though.

Best news so far: modders have finally managed to create a stadium on PC. It looks horrible, but that is because the work was done by a couple of people in a few days time. It could take weeks if not months for a team of top modders to create a stadium which is true to the original and also looks good, but it has got my hopes up. I really hope someone is creating Emirates and Mestalla right now  

Also online has been quite stable recently...hope I haven't jinxed it though.

Just played for the first time on PS3.

What garbage.I'd rather play Winning Eleven 2000 on PS1.This is the worst PES I've ever seen.

I played for no more than 5 minutes,I was that sick of it.The grass looked like a flat chunk of plastic.Won't even waste more words on this piece of junk...

So you mean your shit at it and therefore, "its shit"?

If this is your first time playing in ps3..surely you could of come to the conclusion its going to take more than 5 minutes to actually get the hang of it?

PES is not a game for people who want instant fun. If your argument is, "why the hell should I play something that's not instantly fun?", then I'd completely agree with you. And frankly Konami could do better to make this game more available to newcomers.

You need to put time in learning how to play it, get past the first frustrating 10-15 hours to finally start to enjoy it and appreciate the depth it offers. But even then PES lets you down sometimes a lot

This year I've been torn between FIFA and PES. What is more frustrating is that I have to adapt all the time as I switch between games

Expecting to like a PES game after 5 mins

Amazes me how people expect games to be great from the get go.... there's these things called learning curves i know they are absent from CoD and FIFA but they actually exist in other games.

PES 2014 has a very steep learning curve, this is coming from a PES fan that have played many of the previous editions. At first, it seems very difficult but once you get the hang off it, its the most realistic game to date.

I liked every PES before.I only play with a couple of friends and we bet on it,went yesterday and this garbage ruined our day until we started playing PES 2013 instead of this "advanced football simulation" that looked like a game of table football.

PES 2014 is a disgrace to all of football,gaming and any sport or simulation.To think someone actually spent time and money making this pile of junk is beyond me.

Can't believe Mole had me hype this game in front of my friends We were basically just staring at it in disbelief of it's rubbishness cause we expected the greatest PES we ever played...

In what way is it garbage?

Plus, couldn't you make your own judgement from the demo before buying the game?

At least give us some reasons why the game was bad lol

God, what a load of hastle having to install loads of different things just to get the game how you want it

Nah I don't have it, tried the demo(s) and didn't like it.

Just saying there's always talk of different patches for various things and it seems like a major hastle to me, on a console anyway.

Well I dunno, for me it was a minor issue because 15minutes is hardly a long time.

Maybe some people find it unnecessarily long in comparison to FIFA, IDK. When considering the superior gameplay, its one of the those things I just accept.

My complaints with PES right now are the faces, lack of stadiums and first time shooting which seems broken.

I agree about the faces and stadiums. What shooting system are you using? Basic, Advanced, or Manual?
