Does the Monaco owner have some less known-about riches?
The team is still part owned by the Prince of Monaco (33.3%)... Monaco has an annual GDP of 7 billion. You add the combined wealth of Monaco and Rybolovlev, and it's not even all that close.
It's interesting that Rybolovlev was forced to give his wife 6.3 billion in divorce... and swiss law requires that the wealth amassed during the marriage be split 50/50. So in 2012, that means the wealth they had amassed in Switzerland alone was 12.6 billion lol. Makes you wonder what these peeps are really worth.

Wow how sad for football that it's all about the money these days wouldn't it make sense for falcao to move to a bigger club with a grand history and have the chance to go down as one of the best strikers in this era(instead of a money grabber)? He should move somewhere like barca, utd, chelsea or juve. He would still earn like 200,000 a week and then he could go and live in the very nice monaco when he retires without paying tax!

And Monaco is not going to be some small team... it's basically PSG part 2 although, in the case of Monaco, i have absolutely no idea how they will get around FFP. They have like 3k fans

Yeah it will be a challenge for falcao but i just think he would have moved to a club that would help him achieve greatness, it won't be given to him at monaco that's for sure. Monaco are a very cool club though ive always loved their colours and stadium not to mention they had trezeguet and henry on their books and sold them to us

Ibra seems to be achieving greatness at PSG. Give them a chance they probably promised him they would be ambitious if he signed for them

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Monaco just made a very juicy offer to Jorge Mendes for Falcao because they are willing to pay his clause.
the medias interpret it as Falcao going to Monaco but it's not the case.
Falcao hasnt decided where he is going, and i really dont think he will go to monaco if he has a chance to join a bigger club.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Manchester City have reportedly come in to take Malaga’s Isco for a summer transfer, ahead of Barcelona.
AS report today that Barca had been following closely the sought-after 21-year-old, who is expected to leave Malaga this summer despite only recently renewing his contract.
It is understood, though, that City have acted to tie up a deal ahead of them. Details are currently unspecified, but negotiations reputedly began back in mid-April.
City apparently decided to enter into talks for the Spain international then amid reports of an inquiry from Monaco and then follow-up meeting between the Ligue 2 side’s officials and Isco’s agent.
The English side’s move has also allegedly come after advice from the Anchovies’ Coach Manuel Pellegrini, who is also speculated as joining City in the summer.
Isco has a buyout clause at La Rosaleda set at €35m.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
AC Milan could put in a bid for Fiorentina attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic in June according to reports in Italy.
The Serbian has enjoyed a rich vein of form recently and has yet to sign a contract extension with the Viola.
Sky Sport Italia have claimed that Milan are keeping an eye on his situation and are thinking of making a bid at the right time.
The playmaker’s contract ends in 2014 and with the player seemingly unwilling to commit, Fiorentina may be forced to sell Ljajic in the summer.
The Rossoneri are said to be keen on signing the 21 year-old and could offer close to €9 million to secure a transfer.

Bernand reminds me of Pablo Piatti. Albeit a much better version of Piatti. He's tiny as hell though.
