Either this is another reverse jinx thread, or some of you Madrid fans are bigger pessimists than Mole and Raptorgunner

Last game was a bore fest. Only cross after cross from both sides. Hopefully second tie is more exciting.

Madrid will destroy Utd.
If you dont beat Mourinho in the 1st leg, you are finished.

Re: Manchester United vs Real Madrid discussion
If Madrid scores first in the first half, expect a trashing 3-0 or 4-0, if United scores first then there's a big possibility of Real Madrid facing elimination. The match is still a long way away and a lot can happen between now and then.

Madrid try to pay off ref again.
Fergie sees it coming and passes off a few brown envelopes of his own.
A bidding war ensues but Europol after setting up a sting operation catches both teams red handed.
Both are thrown out, banned and fined.
Everyone is happy.

United are going to sit back and counter in the home leg too. Madrid will have pull something out of the bag without playing to their strength against big teams, which is counter-attack.
Considering Madrid plays Barcelona before this match, i say the advantage is slightly with United.

60 foot crosses into 15 guys is not very entertaining football.

United won't sit back at home. It'll open up chances for us in the counter. And I'm sure Yanited will score as well.
2-2....We're going through

Why wouldnt they sit back? They are winning.
Sir Alex sat back on the last days of the Ronaldinho team at home, dont see why he wouldnt again.

Because we only need one goal and we could get a lucky one any time. I'm sure he's going to want to score at least one before sitting back.

This united team is not designed to sit back and absorb pressure. They took a gamble tonight, I very much doubt they'll take it again considering De Gea might not have a blinder again.

We drew 0-0 with them at our home...next game he sat back and got a 1-0 from their only chance of the game.
He would be a fool not to be at least as cautious as he was today.

Come on they are at home. They'll be cautious but they will naturally be a bit more adventurous because we're going to let them be.

De Gea won't be this godly again, if he sits back with this defense we'll surely get one in.
