reasonable price..... is it possibly because of the new i7 processor, and graphics card???

considering u have 750GB HDD and 8GB ram thats pretty equipped...

btw whats difference between 3rd gen processor and i7? is it only speed performance and how big do u know ... im curious

i m thinking of buying HP Pavilion dv4t-5100.... customized though so processor is obviously one of the factor here....

You should visit the site Legend gave, the posters there have a lot of technical knowledge so they can help you better understanding the performance technicalities.

I suggest you read these links below. These were the options I was looking at; they are pretty similar.

MSI GE60
This one probably has the best specs for price for a multimedia lap; its cheaper than the HP, Samsung, and ASUS alternatives. A great graphics card as well. I hate the design, and it's bulky.

Samsung Chronos
It's a bit more expensive than the ASUS N56 but has a slightly better graphics card.
Reason I didn't go for this was the design, reports of bad touchpad and wifi, higher price and the RAM has only one slot IIRC so you can only get a maximum of 8GB

This is the one I got: ASUS N56
Only thing I don't like about this one is the weight and size. It's not too big though

I have a Dell Inspiron N5010. Last time i used it was yesterday. The battery was low so i didn't put it on charger and put it too sleep thinking ill charge the next day. Today when i switched on the charger. The pin showed blue color showing that's it on. The moment i connected the charger pin too the laptop, The moment it went inside the slot, The blue light went off immediately and the laptop doesn't charge. I dusted the battery, reconnected all points again and again, But still its not working.

Is it a problem with the charger or battery or the laptop?

I think the chargers fine, as the blue light switches on the moment i turn on the charger.
