My reasoning is we can get a couple of players for that money to strengthen weak areas.

I would, especially since he's a local lad & its not like your exactly stacked as a squad on decent players.

No.

His wages would be very high..Newcastle can get a much better player for less, andyou would need to bring Hughton back in to get the best out of him.

Lex, Demba Ba needs a partner.......

I am against it completely to be Carroll but he definitely needs a partner, if we plan to break the top 6 then Best and Ameobi are not good enough.....

What we need IMO Back up Colo, Back up Tiote, Right Back, Striker, Right Winger.

Good point about the very high wages Andres.

on a serious note you never know he might just pick up form with newcastle, might feel less pressure, since he knows the club

question how good is carroll with the ball to his feet?

No. You can strengthen other areas, the wage point and 10m is like 5m less for a Sow/Cisse type beast if you really want a striker.

Hell no... His name is Demba Ba, and he's currently the best genuine 9 in the EPL considering RVP and Rooney are more no. 10s. Thats why I don't think Carrol should join. The partnership wouldn't work. I'd rather buy someone else for 10m.

Sorta Kizz, Ba is a 9.5 really he does things expected of a #10 and of a #9 he is best off a striker IMO

I would rather buy a couple players to strengthen the team in other areas we are weak for example ( wing, fullback, striker)

Also the news changes very fast both Carroll's agent and our managing director have denied any interest in Carroll at all Very Happy
