Because he has'nt shown a single thing to suggest so, he is living on hype and hasnt performed once......
Sergi Gomez is miles better.

Re: OT: Alberto Botía
Sergi Gomez hasn't even come anywhere close to replicating Muniesa's 09/10 or 10/11 form and he's the same age and he's been in the squad for the same length of time.
Boy...you miss a couple of International tournaments with injury and all of a sudden your reserve is better than you.

Re: OT: Alberto Botía
I dont care for international youth tournaments........
Drenthe is a case inpoint......
All i know is Muniesa has been meh for Barca B and for the first team ever since he got that New Puyol hype.....
I am calling it now, Muniesa wont make it at Barca.

^ Ok we disagree....no problem.......but I of all people would not blindly stand up for a Barca youth. He got the tag in 09 and was very good last year.
He's had a couple of niggling injuries tho......if anything prevents him from making it id say it would be that.
Anyway.......New Maldini Santon ain't lookin too hot either

True
It upsets me how he is never given a chance
Even if he has 1 % of the talent Maldini had he would still be be better than our current LB ffs

Never do I find a reason to post in this area, but here I go:
I disagree on Sergi Gomez he is too similar to Fontas, Bartra. All of them seem too passive and they all play the ball from out of the back, yes the two of them were present in a back four yesterday but in a meaningless game to say the least. None of the that I've mentioned (to me) have the balls to go in for a tackle or put their body on the line to protect the team,to protect the goal. That to me separates Muniesa from everybody else in both the first squad and the b team, excluding only Puyol and Masch.
The only reason people around the club have lost some interest in Muniesa is because he always seems to pick up a constant knock which obviously has hindered his progress. But I guarantee you he will have a longer spell in the club than you think.
