Well i too want ozil to play in the middle but that frak kaka is way useless on wings and we have no other option than kaka now....hence ozil on wings.Kaka is hindering Ozils performances though .

Higgy scored a hatrick against them last year,also since match is at mestella they will try to play a high line which can be utilized by higgy's awsome runs..

Higgy won't start, he's back from a long trip, despite he was on a private flight (unlike Messi who suffered to join Spain)

Ozil should never be played other then that Am position and should be closer to the box most of the time and not in CM area.

well tbf since the first int break in the beginning of the season, ozil hasnt been the same for Real Madrid since. atm prefer kaka to play since he didnt go to brazil and is the more in form am for Madrid.

Ozil is more adaptable than that... or at least he needs to be. All our guys play multiple positions. It's a requirement with Mou.

I actually expect Kaka to go left, CR7 right or CF and Benz CF or right. Permutations will happen in the game anyhow.

Ozil will be the AM BUT he has guys in front of him who like the ball early. So his impact won't be as dramatic as when he plays with Germany.

I personally would put Higuain as the CF and Benz on the right... let Ozil play his usual AM role. But that's not going to happen so why fool yourself lol.

Ramos is a CB, he is not RB.If Cristiano isn't fit, Kaka will play there, and Higuain will play alongside Benzema in a 4-2-2-2.

albiol is good as a cb but rb? u gone mad Zeal? lass wud do a better job as rb than albiol.

Albiol has played right back before for both Madrid and Spain so yeah...

I dont mind albiol as a cb but a rb? sounds like a liability waiting to happen... that and i have yet to see a defensively solid performance from albiol in the rb position in a madrid shirt. I'd play carjaval as a rb if arbreloa and lass were out before i play albiol as a rb.

None likes Albiol at RB (or in any position in that matter) but we're kind of short at RBs. Also, I think Mou will put Albiol at CB and Ramos to RB instead if that happens.

Also, f***, international break AND injuries against Valencia. Hoping for the best, but I'm shitting myself tbh. I'm glad we're atleast great against possession sides.

No question Albiol take the RB in such a game and Di Maria is absent. At least the argentinian has a good work at pressing and playing backward, thing that is absolutely missed in Ozil.
Shoul keep our back line intouchable and choosing between KAKA and Higgy forward.

Madrid doesn't need Alonso to beat Valencia, I think they are a tad overrated on this forum, we beat them quite comfortably in this fixture last season, and barring nothing of a huge shock we'll take the maximum points, especially since Canales and Banega would both not be playing.

I really think Alonso is physically exhausted, why take the risk, when we've a player itching to play, who is quite similar in quality. The season is long and the more you keep playing tired players the more likely they are to drop form or points or get injured. We don't want to have 11 tired players on the pitch, which was the case during our early season slump, Madrid has got a big squad and we must use it to its fullest.

I think Ramos should be our primary backup RB, gives Varane a bit of practice too. I wish Mou would use Benz and Pipita together to replace Di Maria, but doubt it.

I hope we can win and get that momentum going again. Barca probably wont lose, so maintaining the 3 point lead should be the objective.

Valencia don't know how to deal with fast counters. We specialize on them I don't see a problem beating them Pathetico on the other hand play differently now. They might get easier of harder depending on how we'll play them

Wonder if we use our super-pressure to start the game... my worry with it is that we burn out come the second half. Might be worthwhile to even out the effort a bit in this game imo.

I would think not and it's actually a good thing. This is a game where you play super tight defense and kill them on counters. Kind of like playing Germany or Spain
