2nd test of the season after soceidad,hopes for a win.Canales wont play he is injured,also we put a cant play against claw too.Valencia had alot of time to prepare as their players all arent internationals.Will be a tough match,Victor ruiz-rami partnership wont lay down easily.Also valencia's strong point in attack is their left wing which is good news for us since that is our most defensive wing :lol!:

I think this game's got draw written all over it.
International break and I think people are going to realise that we need di maria in games like this.
I'm going for a 1-1.

All of our players did have pretty good mid-week matches so i hope they prove me wrong.

No doubt that is a tough game on paper, but these last years we took an ascendant moral on them as we beat them 4 times in the last 2 seasons (2H & 2A).
Valencia is one pt behind Barcelona so they want to win to remain the pressure on the cules and stick in the of the table. They are playing at home so obviously they gonna leave spaces backwards and there come Mou tactics.

We are so far solid defensively and our midfield is doing better and better so i'm kind of overconfident about saturday match. Hope efficiency will be present though.

Hopefully both Benz and Higz start for the first time.

Yeah that will be much better than playing with KAKA OZIL when we know that both don't get the "pressure job" right. Benz rotating with CR on wings, Ozil a playmaker and Higgy as 9 would be heavy on Valencia's defense.

Rumours say Sahin is gonna play to replace Di Maria/get playing time

I'd not be surprised becouse I've heard that he has a high workrate, so maybe he can pull it off. Maybe this will be the first time we play the 4-3-3.

My speculated starting XI:

Otherwise, I could see us going for a 4-2-3-1 with Kaka as AM and Özil at the wing

sahin should play and we should try to rest as many internationals as possible.

id say give ozil a rest let di maria and kaka play

i'd rather prefer giving some rest to the international players in the next CL game and put Sahin in the starting 11.
We have not to mess with this game. this month is crucial for La Liga title IMO.

Pipita had a long flight from South America, I would give Karim the nod for this game. Sahin starting with Xabi and Sami in midfield and Ozil helping out in attack with Ronaldo.

We're good at avoiding the fifa virus so I hope we play well since if we do we'll win. Tough game regardless though.

Here's hoping for a win and for Barca to drop points (Zaragoza suck balls though so there is little chance of that happening ):dance:

I'm doubtful over Sahin playing the 90.

Ronaldo didn't train so possibly he won't play. I doubt it tho.

I don't like the idea of Ozil on the wings, he's not a winger and won't be at his best on the wings, I'd put my bets on Callejon starting this one. He's been quite impressive in the little minutes he's got this season and if he doesn't start with Di Maria out injured, he might never start another match for Madrid.
And I think Alonso has earned a rest, I believe Sahin is ready to start a match.

Guys... you're not going to start Sahin over Alonso in such an important game when Sahin has only played 25 mins for us all season. No way.

Callejon has also played too little.

You don't experiment in games like Valencia. Against lesser opponents, sure.

Alonso must be tired after travelling all over the world and playing an enormous amount of minutes for club and country.

Sahin looked good on his debut and has had a week to train, he may not be 100% at the moment but neither is Alonso, I have a feeling he might break down or injure himself if he plays another 90 minutes. I wouldn't want to risk him, with the clasico around the corner.

yea play ozil on wings when he finally rejuiced his performance and positional play with germany, let all that go to waste.

The minute ozil started playing as RM with kaka, that was the start of his downfall.

Ozil should never be played other then that Am position and should be closer to the box most of the time and not in CM area.

You need to understand that even if Xabi is tired, he is in match fitness, and Sahin is not at the same point. It's a big game, no room to mess around.

No way Sahin starts, he needs to get himself in the rhythm of how we play first.
