Ozil vs Kaka

Is it my imagination or not?? Lately, I think Kaka is playing much better at CAM than Ozil. For some reason Ozil form seems a little off from last year. I'm not referring to his play on wing since that's not his best position. Is anyone else sensing this? Any ideas as to why?

Ozil has been good this game,the other games kaka has performed better

ozil has been playing too simple,he should improve his attacking qualities,mainly shooting

But yh Kaka's been better, nothing to worry about cause even at 50% he's good enough(may be not to start, but off the bench).
He'll regain his form hopefully by the classico, but im thinking he'll be back to his very best after the winter break.

He's played a lot of football both for Madrid and Germany he's burned out just give him time.

Anyways time for Kaka to pay back some of that transfer fee

özil played good today aside from his finishing

HIs form is a bit off because it's difficult for young players to stay consistent. He is still very young, playing for a top club for only one year.

he is still growing mentally, so it's expected from him.

Kaka knows it all already, and he adapted to his new body, so he is able to kick up his form much faster.

He is going to improve this season, and probably explode again next year.

Ozil played well tonight.

Bill, he started more games than even Casillas last season He had the creative burden of a newly formed team. Then he played the most important games in internationals for Germany. Not even Xavi played as much as him last year minute wise At the age of 23, he has to hit a wall at some point
I'm more amazed he didn't hit it sooner His consistency level last year was very unusual for under 26y old players

He's a rhythm player that can't find it right now. Only for players like him to get it back is to play a lot... but if Kaka is healthy and playing well, that won't happen. Maybe it will suddenly click. But i've rarely seen players that rely on rhythm recover it without consistent time on the pitch.

Ozil showed today who is boss.

Some of the stuff he pulled off in the first half today were maradona-esque. I am sorry, but even an under performing Ozil is still better than Kaka, for me.

He did provide nice passes and that nutmeg.

He was ok today. A 7.0 just becouse he created so many goals, should have finished one too tough.

Ozil shouldn't start over Kaka just because Ozil was amazing last year. Similarly, Kaka shouldnt be in bench just because he has been shit for the past 2 years.

This year, Kaka has been more direct than Ozil, also has had better performances. However, Ozil does add more to Real than Kaka, but his lack of consistency is worrying. Again tonight he wasn't bad probably a 6.5 or 7 out of 10. However, this is a guy with a potential to get around 9 most of the games.

Ozil was boos tonight. MOTM for me.

ozil and kaka can play together but the reason ozil hasnt been preforming up to the standards of last year is because he hasnt gotten many strings of games in a row

He was quite impressive, that was definitely more than just a 'not bad' game, 4 key passes, 90% passing percentage with total 59 passes, drawing 3 fouls, not to mention his part in winning that free kick and penalty leading to our first & second goals. 1 saveable attempt & another 1 or 2 intercepted very well by lloris didn't downgrade his performance by much, it's not like his failure to convert that chance costed us this game.

On topic about ozil vs kaka, let's not forget that lately (say in the last 6 games before this lyon away) ozil only started as cam twice while kaka started 4. The impression about kaka has performed better probably became very popular after a strong performance from kaka vs villareal followed by the recently unimpressive performance from ozil vs sociedad (facing sociedad who defense with 5 - 7 players was probably the harder game to look good though).
However, right 4 games before those 2 where kaka started 3 times as cam (malaga, betis, & espanyol) and ozil once (lyon home), kaka wan't impressive in all those 3 games (despite scoring vs betis) & ozil's performance vs lyon home was better than any of those 3.

If we take all those last 6 games + the recent game vs lyon away, to me:
Kaka vs villareal > ozil vs sociedad
Ozil vs lyon home > kaka vs malaga, betis, & also espanyol
Kaka vs villareal > ozil vs lyon home
Ozil vs lyon away > kaka vs villareal
Thus, so far no, despite ozil's inconsistency & below his standard at times I don't think kaka has performed better, especially kaka himself hasn't consistent either.
