Pastore
Would he ever get a start in the Argentina shirt in the short term? Why do you think Argentina coaches ignore him?
We have seen him excel in what is a very physical French league with his lanky stature. You decide.

Re: Pastore
He'll eventually get there, for me he should be the first name on the team sheet after Mascherano and Messi. So unfortunate that such a talented and gifted player is being benched behind the likes of Jose Sosa, sickens me tbh. Btw, Pastore has Huracan DNA

Re: Pastore
Hell, we have seen him excel in Calcio, so his class is already proved.
I really have no idea why he doesn't start. That 3-4-3 or whatever it was did not make at all sence since Argentina are completely lacking in the defense department in order to pull it off. I'd copy Barca and pack the midfield with midfielders, which Argentina has plenty of.
In order for that formation to be effective, you need a Dani Alves or Lahm type of guy, and sadly, Zanetti is too old for that.
Rojo I'd take Cichero or Rosales over him any day.

Re: Pastore
Rojo is awful, Insua or Ansaldi are much better options.

Re: Pastore
Still not at Argentina class, IMO. Sabella was trying to coverup your complete lack of fullbacks.
Hell, Jonas Gutierrez would be better He can't defend, but at least he makes great runs and has awesome workrate.

Re: Pastore
Pastore playing for Argentina might have the same effect as division by zero. Therefore, Argentina's coaches in attempt to protect humanity refrain from creating the sexy Pastore/Messi combination.
Argentinian coaches are famous for their world protecting decisions, from ignoring Zanetti in favor of unproven youth, to withdrawing both Riqulme and Crespo against ze Germans.
Then fielding five attacking players and one DMF against said Germans as well.
All to protect humanity from the harmful effects of super sexy football. We should praise the names of Argentinian coaches, they are dumb, for all of our sakes.

Dividing by zero won't have any effect because Messi provides nothing in the first place.
BOOM.
Just kidding.
Pastore definitely deserves a first team place in the Argentinian national team; one simply can not keep such a natural passer on the bench and maintaining effective midfield movement is the key to ensuring that Messi's efforts aren't wasted as they often have been in the past, even when he plays well - including the last Copa America.
Also the 0/0 comment I made is technically a generalisation, you'd need to test to see whether the limit exists in the specific case, rather than just dismissing it as zero. The trolling however was worth the generalisation. You all needed to know this.
