i scouted a midfielder from Argentina. He is 14. His potential is 93

wooooooahh. well it also depends on how much his overall is, because at age 14 the overall and potential will still rise.

the most I got was a 68 GK with 91 potential.

Rooney is contracted by EA Sports to appear on the cover of FIFA. It's not bias, just good marketing.

One thing I have noticed in Career Mode is that none of my loaness get playing time even if they're just as good, if not better, than the players they have. It's annoying, since they're not going to develop this way and are just going to end up being sold by me which is a shame, since I like Ryo and Ox.

I would keep Ryo, but it's hard enough for me to give all my first teamers enough games to keep them happy without developing a youngster on the side. I don't think I'd be able to give Ryo enough games to develop him to a suitable level.

this game is absoute crap. really pisses me of at times. EA just costed me a relegated. Was winning 3 times and all 3 times the servers broke down and i got 3 defeats for some reason. Its defintately not my connection.

personally think the game has really improved since F11.

scouting is a good idea, the player growth is great, gameplay brilliant, as well as good graphics.

im currently on my 2nd season with liverpool and have a decent squad.
i am also building around youth players (16-23/24) in my squad so being in 4th position half way through the season is decent, for playing on world class.

then i got a crap load of loaned players.
im trying to offload my unused / elderly players and bring in decent youth.
i mainly focus on 2/3 first team defenders mixed with a 16-20 year old. midfield bring on youth as a sub if game is in my favour, and forwards sub or sometimes even start if my other outfield players can compensate for the lack of quality of the youth player.

loving this game, but the prices for some players are crazy lol (Paid £150,000,000m for Messi on the PC Version as man city haha)

The transfer period is idiotic, liverpools best defence is: flanagin - carra - coates - Fabio Auralio.

Man city are buying players like there is no tomorrow meanwhile arsenal are working on buying Nasri, I also get 500000 offers for players i don't want to sell and players I want to sell don't go anywhere, it is also impossible to get a loan deal, nobody wants my youngsters.


It is also impossible to keep everyone happy despite my very good rotation.

It's much more fun for me at least, to put it on legendary. When I don't I end up being able to buy any player with the amount of money I've amassed.

Just offload the sucky ones (transfer/release) and rotate the good ones as best you can. A good 16 year old can progress 8+ points in one season with maximum playing time.

Alright guys... so I'm having a lot of trouble mastering the passing of this game. My bread and butter of Fifa has always been outpassing my opponent, I can move the ball very quickly and pull off slick passing moves and through balls etc. In this game I find myself missing many passes, struggling to make the final ball and I pretty much get dominated in possession in every game by the computer.

The main thing I want to ask is...which settings would be best to help me master my passing? As in (Manual or Automatic). Also, any tips would be ace.

This isn't exactly a tip, but the reason you could find it hard to create chances is because they've strengthened the AI backline considerably. What I do is try to at least beat one defender and from there on, the field is much more open. You should try running at the defender with sprint and then changing directions right before he tackles to throw him off [depending on the defender and the player you're using].

I always play automatic though.

Yeah, I'm sick of not being able to put overcast and night. Mine are ALWAYS at dusk and the shadows of the stadium are screwing with the field.
