Just hope Ade goes back to "I don't give a damn" mood, or Modric gets injured.

They have the best chance of any of the teams outside the Manchester/Chelsea bubble.

Four games seem like a rather short span to judge form on, but ok, I concede you have a point.

I get the feeling Sepi is overrating them, because they raped his Liverpool side but what he forgets is that Liverpool played like a non-league side that day
Dont worry your pretty little heads though, because after the international break Newcastle will smash Tottenham at St James and everything will be right in the world again

Screw Spurs.
Our captain is back, our #9 is off the mark and we're giving United their first loss of the season in 2 weeks.
Ours to lose

They were in the title challenge last season until Feb...then they collapsed and won 1 in 10.
Knee-jerking ftw
We've played 4 absolutely tough away fixtures and are still above them.
Arsenal (A), Stoke (A), Spurs (A), Everton (A)
These are the # of points top teams accumulated from those games last season:
United: 0,3,1,1
City: 1,1,1,0
Chelsea: 0,1,1,0
Liverpool: 1,0,0,0
Just happy we are able to grind out results without particularly playing well (other than game vs Stoke of course)

I tend to remember, their fixture list has been consisting of:
Arsenal (H)
Sunderland (A)
Fulham (H)
QPR (A)
Aston Villa (A)
Blackburn (H)
Wolves (A)

Re: Can Tottenham make it back to the CL?
Can Spurs finish in a Champion's League place again? Absolutely. It'd be foolish to suggest they will be anywhere but in the running for a European place this season.
WILL they finish in 4th or above? We'll just have to wait a while to see. There are too many factors to take into account for anyone to make an accurate prediction now.

Ade will lead Spuds to the promised land
(Would much prefer Newcastle or Liverpool in there though.)

No Chance imho they are a good side but they lost their chance to cement their position in the transfer window...

For a team of their size / annual revenue, they've got a very good squad. They would have had to spend stupid amounts of money to get a player who would significantly improve one of their starting positions.

I am all for this Newcastle love but how realistic is this really?
I know we are unbeaten and been without 3 of our best players but lets be real 7th and deep runs in both of the cups would represent a fantastic season for us.

Re: Can Tottenham make it back to the CL?
Why not though?
I mean both Liverpool and Spuds are capable of going through extended bad spells.
It won't be easy but the second you consider it impossible it becomes so.
