Best right back in the world injured, this season is beyond ugly. We are now stuck with an extremely poor right back, I can't believe Arsenal sold Eboue.
I really don't know why people hated on that legend, he delivered in the big games and had a desire that so many players at Arsenal lack.

I think Wenger will play Coquelin as a RB as he had great game today. But first lets hope the injury is not serious. Wenger was very worried so lets pray that its only a minor injury.

He was not awful. He wasn't world class, but as RBs go he was a very solid backup.gunnerlistick wrote:Eboue was awful but he should have stayed.....at least we had experienced cover there
Yep. Most Arsenal fans love the guy and will never forget him.gunnerlistick wrote:Eboue legend...

most Arsenal fans hate guy lmao
back on topic.....Jenkinson like many youngsters at this club isn't ready for first team footy, Wenger should sent him on loan and let Eboue stay.
Now we have to watch him get slaughtered everyweek...awful awful management

The Club can confirm that Bacary Sagna sustained a fracture to the fibula in his right leg during the match against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.
Further detailed investigations and assessments will take place on Monday, during which time Bacary will see ankle specialists and the Arsenal medical team regarding the further management of his injury.
It is expected that Bacary will be out for approximately three months and a surgical procedure cannot be ruled out at this stage.
Everyone at the Club wishes Bacary a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him playing again as soon as possible.

And we officially have no luck. I've been holding onto the belief that we have a little bit, but nope we don't.

Yeah for me I see Eboue as a legend, there was not one game I can recall that Eboue didn't give his all. You look at the likes of Denilson, Diaby, Squillaci and other wasteman, could they deliver against the likes of Barcelona in their debut season or last season against one of the greatest teams of all time by stepping in as a for Sagna without real match practice.
Say what you want but the guy could never be faulted for effort and commitment to the club. That for me earned his status as a legend.

You have forgot his diving antics and his usual moment when he picks up the ball from 40 yards, skins everyone then gets to the edge of the box to just dive

I have not forgotten his antics at all but was that relevant to my points about Eboue? No. The fact is he was shorlisted as defender of the year in Europe.
In fact I remember arguably his best dive in the CL final 2006. Another fact is almost every Arsenal player has traits that are unfavourable, if I want to be cynical about Arsenal players I could do so.

Sagna is up with the best right backs in Europe. Jenkinson looks like Old Trafford has destroyed him, hopefully he can get some confidence back quick because we dont have any cover in that position !

Jenkinson is young and tall and has the speed, I know he can do the job, but Walcott has to help him out.
