Doesn't it bother you folks that you still couldn't beat us with basically our 2nd string playing? 8 players rested, FFS! Thumbs up

LOL, second string of players?

Torres alone cost more than entire Arsenal team.

Doesn't change the fact that he's a second string CF atm.

It was more important that we didn't lose. Still in pole for 3rd.

Enjoy the taste of CL football next week buddy, next year you won't be in it :coffee:

I was going to reply to you but then I noticed that Raptor annihilated you.

Chelsea played their regular negative bus-parking tactics that they've adopted to try and sneak into the CL Final and our midfield couldn't play fluidly as a result and also a byproduct of losing Arteta.

But to reply to what you initially said. No, I'm not bothered. A 5-3 rout of your first team at Stamford bridge was worth a goalless draw we played better in at the Emirates Razz

Really, it was a shit game all around and neither side can really boast anything.

It is worth pointing out that those games won't be played until the 2nd of May so we could be in a situation where Spurs and Newcastle do go above us in the table.

Next weekend the games are:

Stoke vs Arsenal
Wigan vs Newcastle
Tottenham vs Blackburn

So Spurs could go level on points with us with a game in hand, likewise Newcastle.

Those games in hand are:

Bolton vs Tottenham
Chelsea vs Newcastle

Interesting games ahead.

Worded that wrongly.

I meant that Spurs could go level with us should they beat Blackburn and Bolton and we lose to Stoke.

Tough fixtures for Newcastle, fixtures we won Smile

Spurs look to have the easiest run, then us then Chelsea.

Very tough fixtures ahead for Newcastle.. If we can pull out atleast 7 points out of 9.. We have done it..
Cant see Spuds doing it at the moment unless they make a massive turnaround..
And for Chelski to catch us.. It will be a pity if we drop a 4 point lead with 3 matches left..
*
So cheer up guys..
And with no Arteta and Walcott.. Its hightime that some players need to turn up in the remaining 3 games.. Come on Diaby..
Come on Ramsey..
Come on Gervinho..
Come on RVP..
And its our defence who is going to win us the 3rd place..

Strong rumours that Adebayor has refused to play for Spurs again this season following a bust-up with Redknapp.

Redknapp had an argument with Adebayor, Walker, Kaboul and Lennon.

Expected to be in Newspapers tomorrow.

Let's hope it's true. Twisted Evil

Spurs are done, I hope Newcastle makes it and both Chelsea and Spuds can enjoy the EL.

We are almost home, a good result at Stoke, I know there is no easy games but we should be able to deal with the 3 remaining games.

I would be miracle if Newcastle makes it, I'm a bit worried with our fixture tbh, it's hard to explain but those teams are the dodgy ones where we could easily slip up, lets hope I'm wrong.

I see what you mean. Stoke, Norwich and West Brom don't have anything to play for but they doesn't mean they can't hurt us. I'm less concerned about them though and more concerned about how well we're going to play without Arteta and Walcott, with van Persie out of form, with Ramsey playing the way he is... those things will make those games harder.

Is it really?

Lets compare starting eleven's when spuds qualify and our team now.......

Gomes
Corluka Dawson King Akoutto
Lennon Huddlestone Jenas Modric
Defoe Crouch

Krul
Simpson Taylor Coloccini Santon
Tiote Jonas
Cabaye
Ben Arfa Cisse Ba

Is it really a miracle? or do we actually have quality players and people are ignorant of it because most of them are under the radar?
