Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
Franck Ribery: "The best Bayern I know"
Franck Ribery Bayern Munich's superstar sees the German record champion almost on par with Champions League winner FC Barcelona.
"Barcelona are a great team, but we are getting closer to them. We are no longer very far away. And possible in one or two games is all. Since I'm here, I have seen Bayern never so strong as now. These are the best Bayern I know, "the Frenchman said before the Champions League group match of Bayern Munich and Manchester City on Tuesday (20.30 clock in the live ticker and Sky) in the" kicker "interview, adding:" If we keep playing like now, no one can stop us. " FC Bayern belong in the champions league "to the favorites. We are strong."
The 28-year-old is currently not even shy away from a comparison with world footballer Lionel Messi. "If I'm good, I feel if I can do that, what I want, I'm very much ready," Ribery said on requests to Messi.
Ribery: "I found everything"
After two bad years under Louis van Gaal, the midfielder is currently enjoying under coach Jupp Heynckes his second spring in Bavaria, where he is under contract since 2007.
"I am a completely different person over the past two years. I have found everything I've lost over the past two years," Ribery said his recovery.
Frenchman wants all three titles
That he was recently praised by all sides in such a way, "shows that I'm back, I'm back to the true Franck Ribery, that I have found the laughter and the joy of playing," added the national player of the season all three titles aims: "I want and desire for Bayern to win the Champions League I'm hungry and in my early days at Bayern I'm hungry for anything..."
The contract of the French international is still running at Bayern until 2015. Once again, he emphasized, "how good it feels to be here. I'm very happy. I'm here at home. I do not think about a change."

I hope people actually properly read the whole paragraph rather then making a remark on Ribery's childhood accident.
Good to see Franck feeling so happy. Always liked the man.

Re: Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
well in a kind of way ribery is right, bayern is a team to fear. other then barcelona i think no other team is capable to dominate this bayern. they look really strong. with neuer they have the absolutely best goal keeper in the world, they improved their defence (but still not world class) and from ther on they only have top to world class players in their team.
barcelona are in a league of their own and can only loss to them self, but bayern is not far behind the likes of manchester united/city/real madrid. right now i even think they are stronger and more complete than chelsea and the two italians giants (ac and inter milaan)

He's right they are playing great!!!!! Great coach but can they stay consistent is the question. I like Bayern great team that always has some really good players, prefer Dortmund though!

Waldorf: Wow, that's one half a season less than Robben!

Re: Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
If Ribery can admit he was off the boil for the last 2 seasons how come some people in this forum still can't see that.

Over the last 2years Van Gaal created a team that is very similar to Barcelona and Jup's is perfecting it.
I don't know what position we need to strengthen maybe 1 more CB and a Future replacement for Tymo
Re: Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
I already posted my comments here, but the fact is Ribery is simply in the form of his life and his sheer confidence (not arrogance) and joy with being uplifted of his recent statis as well as Jupp's revival of Bayern is like a constant wave of energy and team-belief that can only be stalled by the most strongest of opposing forces and negativities.
Ribery will have the season he always was expected to

Backup for Rafinha. An extra CB in case we're hit by injuries. A young goalkeeper once Neuer retires. A striker.Idrisozet wrote:Sushi Master wrote:If Bayern keep on strengthening we'll be at Barcelona level, I agree to that

Really only depth signings, because our starting 11 can challenge anyone. Plus we have great youth prospects.

Re: Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
bayern and their fans really should keep their feet on the ground!, sure they were great against city tonight but beating city 2-0 isn't exactly that big of an achievement anyway when napoli almost did it in england two weeks ago..
bayern maybe strong but barca or even man utd can kick their butt anyday of the week...

Lol... You always forget that Boateng or Lahm can cover for Rafinha so a another CB can come in place of Boateng and Contento can come in for Lahm.
But it will be Boss if we can find another Young FB.
Re: Ribery: Nobody can stop us!
No, I know that. But that means less depth in other areas. Like in having to play Contento or wasting Boateng at FB when he's beast in CB.Idrisozet wrote:Sushi Master wrote:Backup for Rafinha. Our bench 11 could be something like this:
Butt/NewGK
New RB Van Buyten New CB Contento
Tymo Alaba
Usami/new RW Kroos Pranjic
Petersen/new FW
New RB Van Buyten New CB Contento
Tymo Alaba
Usami/new RW Kroos Pranjic
Petersen/new FW
So mostly defensive depth, because the rest is just to strengthen the bench.

I dont think Pranjic is of any goodd to the team this days, he needs to be replaced.
